Great bar and worth a stop for drinks.

Quite an eclectic decor inside this iconic bar of Lisbon. In the Principe Real neighborhood. Only distinguishable by two small Chinese lanterns and a red door on the outside. Loved this place packed full of crazy curiosities. Great selection of drinks too and old style waiters. Bought a drinks menu too because it was so quirky.

Went on a Saturday evening when bar first opened. Very unusual place with 3 or 4 rooms all filled with strange items, very much like a museum. Price of beer more in line with tourist price as opposed to a local. Always wanted to visit and enjoyed, but should have gone later in the evening when far busier to have... More

Increadible decor with all kinds of memorabilia on the walls. There's a very comprehensive cocktail list which I didn't think was really any more expensive than some other places. Cocktails were fair and I think the experience made up for this. A definate to go and have a look at

This place has a very interesting interior, there was toys in literally every corner of the room with airplanes hanging from the ceilings and toys displayed on the cupboards. It was slightly dark so not exactly amazing for pictures, the feel of the place is somehow weird as the lighting and ambience makes me feel like i was trapped in... More

I have been going to this bar for over 40 years maybe once or twice a year. I found that in Disneyland Florida copies of similar concepts but nothing new beats the quality and passé glory of this bar and despite the often grumpy old waiters (old in years of service that is), the place never fails to deliver its... Now that I've been, I probably wouldn't return, as it's a fun place to experience, but rather expensive. I'd recommend ordering cocktails if you go, because they are well-made here and overpriced everywhere anyway! Get a long one and linger over it as long as you can. I felt as if I'd been transported to a decadent club in the... More

Most of the reviews here are spot on. The drinks are expensive but well worth a one-time visit, or to show a out-of-towner around Lisbon. The decor is quite wonderful and the place is clean, but the ceilings are looking tired. I would be a couple of drinks in before stepping into this place, down a couple while walking around... More

We went for a drink with some friends, several years after our first visit, maybe a decade, more a less. The huge amount of collections, all different , without a common thread among them, creates a environment close to the chaotic. Interesting, but at the same time meaningless. Staff cold, seaming to expect the hour of close the door and... More

I was recommended a visit here by a couple of friends and it didn't disappoint. The bar is so quirky with loads of cabinets stuffed full with weird and unusual brick a brac. Drinks are slightly more expensive than other bars but we thought it was worth it just for the sheer novelty of the bar. Opens late so worth... More
