This is a very special place, with very special people. Do not expect a full meal, as they have limited small plates. That said, the wonderful assortments of cheeses, meats and sardines accompany their vast selection of Portuguese wine perfectly. Rui and his team make you feel very special, and let you taste as much wine as you need to... More

Great little wine bar serving Portuguese wines and accompanying food. The staff is extremely kind, helping you select wines to go with your food and satisfy your taste. Excellent experience with great food, great wines and outstanding service. Recommended !

What can be said that hasn't bed said in previous reviews? This place is a true gem. I made a reservation here because it was the #1 Lisbon restaurant on Trip Advisor. I wasn't sure I was going to appreciate a wine bar like this but it was probably one of my top 5 favorite dining experiences of all time.... More

We popped by early evening just for a quick drink on the basis of the reviews on here and ended up having a wonderful experience. The guy serving seated us at a table, talked us through the difference between ruby and tawny ports and I chose a 10 year old ruby and my husband a 20 year old tawny from... More

We reserved a table here after all the great reviews on trip advisor and so glad we did! This place is so different from all the typical tourist spots in Libson serving the usual sandwiches and salads from those plastic menus... You don't go here looking for a slap up meal - you go here to sample some Portuguese wines... More

We visited this wonderful wine bar last night. It was busy but the owners were so kind as to arrange a table 20 mins later. When we arrived, we were ushered to our table. We weren't sure of what wines to drink but the owners allowed us to taste four wines before choosing. The owners' knowledge of wine is encyclopedic... More

My best idea ever was to order the port flight here. We lucked out by getting the one server that spoke English and she took us on an amazing adventure explaining the differences in port wine. Who knew it came from Portugal? ;-) She also prepared a sweet treat plate for us to taste with our port.

We went there last Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday only had time for a glass of wine before dinner, but liked it so much we booked for Thursday night. The place is a must go for people interested in wine. They take great pride in finding good quality Portuguese wines that suit you taste. You give them a bit of... More

Had a wonderful evening last week at BA wine Bar. On entering, the clinical look of white walls, polished tables and counter at the back might put you off but as soon as you are greeted, this is forgotten. Food is simple, cured hams, cheeses and chorizo but they are all from artisan suppliers, however it is the wine and... More

Very unfriendly owner who really looks down upon his customers. They serve various wines and curated meats and cheeses. Nothing special as there are many unbelievable good restaurants in Lisbon. Portugal is a culinary affordable delight ranging from traditional to more modern prepared food. Don't waste your time as this place if for tourists!
