In spite of the stories about queues and tourists we had a very calm lunch in Ramiro. Lots of buttery toast heralds the arrival of as much seafood as you want to eat. The menu is multilingual and tablet-based complete with photos so there's no space for confusion about your order, We ate garlicky, buttery clams - some of the... More

I heard so much about this place on the internet and from other reviews. It is a huge restaurant and the service was quick but the food was disappointing except for the prawns. It was also quite expensive for what we ate. Will try another place on my next visit.

The food is amazing if you are a shellfish lover, which we all were, but just because of the management the place is not worth it. We (along with 10 other people) walked in and it was really really busy but there was nobody welcoming people. We were all crammed in about 2 square metres, trying to move out of... More

There is always a line waiting for a table. This means a lot about the quality of seafood served there. Grilled, boiled, fried in butter, all kinds of seafood are fresh and delicious. Expensive? Yes, but seafood this good has to be expensive.

Had been wanting to try Cervejaria Ramiro for sometime. Finally made it and will gladly return. Suggest coming early as the line starts to queue by 7:30PM. Seafood was fresh and with great flavor. Unlike some seafood which at times can be tasteless. Service was quick and efficient. Liked the fact that not only do tourists dine here but locals... More

The food is good and service very (too) quick. Forget fish, just crabs, gambas, shrimps, shells and langoustine....really good sea food and nothing else. No fish or salad... Too expensive

Great experience. We had ordered garlic prawns, clam, and edible crab. Together with the wonderful bread, it's a memorable meal. We went there at lunch time shortly after noon time and we got almost the last table. Be there early or be prepared to queue.

There are many problems with this place, but the main one is that the food is simply not very good, a problem compounded by the fact that it is rather expensive. Shame on Anthony Bourdain for pretending this place is good.
