Great food, hectic in a pleasant way

I called for a reservation earlier that day, and I got: "no reservations, just come and wait till you get table!" - so we went, some 50 people forming a line in front of the restaurant. One waiter ran out and in to bring wine, beer and tapas to the waiting crowd that ordered. The waiting was fine... read more

Are you a sea food fan, do not miss this place when visiting Lisbon. Try to bee there before 19:00 for dinner. The line out side is very long and it will be longer for every hour. When inside, it is crowded and noisy. If you love sea food it is totally worth it. Prices one of the highest in... More

No bookings, you turn up and queue - it may take 30 minutes or more. Once inside, this place is buzzing. Paper table cloths and a short list of 12-15 seafood items - prawns, crab, lobster. Wine comes either red or white... but at E12 a bottle is great value.

This was literally the best meal I've had in my entire life. I'm Portuguese but I live in the states, and I had the opportunity to finally visit my homeland in adulthood. I went with my best friend and my cousin. This was my friends first time out of the country, my cousin and I have been to Portugal and... More

It's my luck to find out this resturant through Tripadvisor and wait for 40 mins at 10:00 PM, Thursdays. As I was.so satisfied, I went again 11:00 PM, Saturday, to wait 20 mins for my last dinner at Lisbon. I will go there agian for next visit to Lisbon. Fresh seafood was.so great, including shrimp, clam, lobster, giant prwans, etc.... More

Eight of us went to this restaurant, highly recommended by tour guide and hotel concierge as the "best seafood restaurant in Lisbon". It is very popular, with a boisterous party atmosphere, but we found the food disappointing. The garlic clams were delicious, but a tiny dish for the money. Large tiger prawns were slightly overcooked and salty. Stone Crab was... More

I could go on about the quality of the food here at length, but the queue out the door and down the street in the evenings says all you need to know, this is an excellent seafood restaurant with a good selection, friendly, helpful staff and top quality food, go early in the afternoon to avoid the rush. staff sat... Normal lobster is recommended. No need to go for mumbo jumbo ones because you will not pay more for the shell and it is also much tender. We've been there twice. Both time are between noon and 2pm when there is no queuing at all. Just look around and check out what local people are ordering. That will give you... More

Went right at opening, was able to get a seat with out waiting. Met all expectations, using tablet with pictures as menu was fool proof. Waiters didn't speak much English, but pointing at pictures made it easy. Also, some daily fresh items are not on the menu, had to ask for it. Price was fair, if anything, thought it was... More
