Great sea food. Perfect for dinner with friends, not so perfect to couples... I will be back with male friends to a male dinner with a lot of beer...

I made reservations after seeing the restaurant on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. We were seated upstairs in a room that was full of other Americans (coincidence?). We ordered a bottle of vinho verde and our server helped us choose a selection of classic items — goose barnacles, tiger prawns, clams in garlic sauce, and several other plates. They came out... The seafood is fresh, well cooked and the service is efficient and friendly. The sapateira was specially good and well priced. The place is really fun and the only problem is the time you have to wait to get inside. We will come back!

I would highly recommend this place. We went on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy. Luckily we didn't need to queue. Their entire menu was on an iPad which gave it a nice touch. We ordered the garlic clams, tiger prawns, edible crab, and garlic shrimp, and barnacles. I'm sorry if this wasn't completely correct. Going off memory here.... More

Unlike some other reviewers, we didn't have to wait at all, since we went on a Wednesday afternoon around 2. We were given an iPad menu which showed the options and their prices, but no details of how it was prepared or cooked in any way. We ordered the rock lobster which was around 89 Euros/kg I think, 10 oysters,... More

I read reviews on tripadvisor and we decided to go there. The place is small and it is located a few blocks away from downtown. You can easily go there walking. We got there on a Tuesday by 8pm and there was already a line of 6 groups waiting. We had to stand there for almost and hour, but the... More

Everyone should try to visit. Best seafood I've ever had. The steak sandwich was even a delight. Can't even start to think about the seafood, without getting hungry. We tried almost everything. Once you start to eat you know why the que is so slow. You will not want to leave.

Ramiro has been reviewed by numerous foodie types, so naturally we had to try it while visiting Lisbon. It's not fancy and you should be prepared to wait (no reservations). Best to get there before it opens and queue up. Ramiro is known for it's fresh seafood. I would recommend going with several people and trying various things on the... More

Had some very nice seafood and a 15 euro bottle of Espumante. Be warned, this restaurant gets VERY busy. You generally have to stand in a very disorderly queue for at least 20 mins, often a lot longer. Regulars get to skip ahead. The restaurant is frenetic and crowded. It's fun, but only if you're in the right mood/prepared for... More
