We had a Sunday night dinner at Resturante Baralto and am I glad we chose it. Its a tiny little place, in the Barrio Alto district, it was around 10 -15 minutes from our hotel (Brown's downtown ), but easy to find. We ate here after searching on Trip Advisor, we only had one night in Lisbon so wanted somewhere special, we were not disappointed! The staff were very friendly and attentive, there was a short wait for our table so we nipped down the road for a drink, the male waiter popped down to tell us when the table was ready.... More

We had an excellent dinner for four people for +/- 25 euro pp (including wines and beers). The food was fantastic - all freshly made and very tasty - and the prices were very reasonable (mains between 13-19 euro). The scallop risotto with ink was delicious, as was the cod with kale and potatoes (a local specialty, so they say).... More

Lovely small restaurant in Barrio Alto's main area. Lots of fish and seafood on the menu. Octopus risotto was on the specials menu and was one of the best risottos I've ever tasted. Highly recommend.

I ate in this lovely restaurant twice and I liked it very much. The place is small (9 tables) and the feeling is good. The food is simple but very VERY V E R Y tasty. I noticed that Hipsters like this place... and as we know, Hipsters have very good taste.

We were lucky enough to get a table straight away because a reservation got cancelled. The restaurant was empty as we sat down and was full to the brim five minutes later. It's a nice, cosy place and staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Food is about as fresh as it can get, as the cook buys it at the... More

Small, intimate restaurant, with impressive dishes from beginning to end: fresh, flavoursome and distinctive food that stands out in a bustling commercial neighbourhood. Excellent value for money.
