Good food, excellent service

Lisbon is full of good restaurants and the competition is intense, so finding Perola was part luck and partly driven to avoid the attentions of the sales pitches. With a vegetarian friend it can be difficult to find suitable food so the first question was " Do you have vegetarian dishes to which... read more

quality/price level is honest. Good prices for good fish or meat, besides the offer of fairly cheap but good quality food such as sardines or 'bacalhau a bras. Excellent choice of wines

All members of staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold dishes, plenty of variety too. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good - squid, mussels - delicious! Would certainly go again when visiting Lisbon. I recommend this establishment.

Part of the Hotel Residentcial Florescente and appearing as a stand-alone restaurant, we just weren’t happy with the experience. We thought that we had found a good quality restaurant that was a short distance off the tourist trail and away from the pushy, money-seeking tricks that can often be found. Sadly, we were disappointed. Olives, pate, bread and cheese was... More

My boyfriend and I visited on the last night of our stay in Lisbon and it was a real treat. We were just wandering down the street as we were told there were some good seafood restaurants along it. It looked good from the outside so we took a table. The waiters were very polite and spoke fantastic english and... More

With so many restaurants to choose from in Lisbon, you want to make the right choice. Situated in a restaurant area just off Rossio Square, Why did we go here? It had a very modern look and you weren't chased up the street being begged to go in!! I was in a party of six and we all throughly enjoyed... More

My friends and I had dinner in Perola on our last day in Lisbon. By mistake I ordered seafood I unfortunately do not like. The chef de service of the restaurant was so kind and offered me to order another meal. Then I got a delicious grilled salmon, carefully presented on very nice grilled vegetable and patatos. I can highly... More

Well presented food, salmon especially well cooked, tuna salad served with couscous unusual but good.

Let's make it short: not the worst but definately not the best. The food was comestible but that's it. The presentation of the plate is great as it is the only positive thing about it. If you want to have a better place, take a walk in Bairro Alto.

My wife and I walked up and down the side streets of the menu hawkers looking for a restaurant that not only had some sort of atmosphere, but something different from the "typical" Portuguese cuisine that was being touted by every place we walked by, when we stumbled upon Perola. Romantically lit and stylishly inviting. We were attentively greeted by... More
