Lovely food

Lovely food in humble surroundings We ordered table about 2 hours before opening time and it was a good idea, because we got the last two seats. Small little restaurant but very prompt and friendly service. Requested a reservation by email with short notice and received prompt reply. The gooey sheep's cheese was excellent! The fava bean salad was cold, as in from the fridge, which wasn't expected though it was still good. We had 4 items in total which were sufficient for a satisfying but not... More

Thanks to tripadvisor for suggesting this tiny gem of a restaurant I booked a table before leaving Scotland. And I wasn't disappointed. We had a lovely meal and although every table was taken, we were well looked after. Would certainly go back if I'm ever in Lisbon again.

I ate here twice during my holiday traveling around Portugal. The first time I went I was lucky to get in as I hadn't made a reservation, the tapa style food was delicious and the red Douro wine that I had would be hard to beat. I had to go back a second time as there was so much more... More

All tapas we tasted were very tastefull. The wine we chose was excellent and the bill was very cheap. Perfect for a quick and good bite. Ambiance could be beter although it has it's charm.

It was our last night in Lisbon and we had reservations at this restaurant. Thank goodness our taxi driver knew where he was going because we would have never found it. What a hidden gem!!! A great way to end an 11 day Portugal visit!!! Okay, here's what we had. Started off with the wonderful bread, garlic butter and olives.... More

A gem of a restaurant. A cosy venue with great ambience. The service was fantastic as were the tapas. Try the cod pataniscas, it's heavenly with the rice and beans. Make a reservation and you won't be disappointed!!

What a great place with fabulous food and lovely owners. We came late in the evening and too bad the chicken and gamba's were sold out but what we got was fantastic for a reasonable price. Only 20 seats so what everyone is saying:book in advance. We will be back!

Great hearty, food at an extremely reasonably price. We were really well looked after by our hostess and enjoyed it so much we returned for the last night of our break. There are only a few tables in this quaint place so booking ahead would be sensible.
