Brilliant little restaurant

We arrived early and found an almost empty place. Within minutes the small room was full. We were amazed at the gorgeous food brought out to us in the form of tapas. So much choice, variety and tastes, especially the goats cheese dish with honey and the spicy beef with sweet potato chips. Thank... read more

Good food but nothing that special as the other reviews make you expect. It's easy to find similar quality with cheaper prices. It's still a good choice if you are in the area and want to try several portuguese dishes. Good for tourists, average for locals. Really friendly!

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. That is despite it consisting of about 5 tables in what seems like a converted living room. The waitress, and I assume proprietor, was fantastic and spoke excellent english. The food was served as it became ready and therefore came out piecemeal. The wine, despite costing less per glass... I did a trip around Europe, and this restaurant made me feel at home. Definitely a place you want to go if you want cheap food, and excellent quality with a dash of home-made food. Definitely worth it if you're in Lisbon.

It was suggested to me by a friend, and i went with my brother, also told me to try the picapao which was one of the most amazing dishes i have ever had. If anyone has to go there you must try it , you will not regret it , and on top of all , it was cheap making... More

I wanted to like Cantinho Lusitano because the waitress was so nice and the prices were so reasonable. My mom and I split four tapas which was plenty for the two of us. They were all good, but nothing special (so I wouldn't say this place was "average" but it wasn't quite "very good"). The service and the prices were... More

I just loved the food that I had. Its my first restaurant where I had Portuguese food for the first time, in my life. I think a visitor at lisbon should nt miss to taste the foods of Cantinho Lusitano.

Very good moments with strongly tasty “petiscos” accompanied by excellent wine. Dessert, cheese and lemon pie are delicious. The cheap price was a pleasant surprise

Although it is a little bit out of centre, it is worth to come. Very good prices and very good meal and wines - cheese azeitao was so good.... It is very small, so it is better to have a reservation.

Wow,amazing food in this lovely small restaurant, wife works front of house while husband cooks, need to book and then turn up!!! Night we went two reserved tables didn't turn up-their loss, best food and so reasonable, my foodie friend who has eaten at several Michelin star restaurants raved about the food and said best lemon pie she had ever...
