I had been there many years ago and loved it. I've heard it had changed but the food remained the same. Went for it without reservation. Had to wait for 10 minutes but it was worth the wait every single second. The food was wonderful. The service was very nice. And the price was extraordinarily affordable. Great indian food.

Food was very good (some was very spicy, so have that in mind before ordering) but service went from really nice to near agressive. I phoned to say my group was going to be approximately 10 min late but was faced with such a weird and harsh reply that if we had not been 9 people I would have gone... More

Very good food. For starters must try "chamuça” and for desert ”bebinca”. The environment is really simple and almost invisible from the outside. The service is good and the prices reasonable. Some consider this to be the best Indian food in Lisbon.

The food comes very very spicy, with no previous notice. The lacy comes highly fermented to a point that's unpleasant. The owner when addressed is somewhat harsh. There are by far better indian cuizine rataurants in Lisbon.

If you enjoy Indian food, this is one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. It has everything an Indian restaurant must have: biryani rice, prawn, chicken, lamb, (cheese and/or garlic) nan, tandoori, etc.. In terms of starters, make sure you don't miss the spicy "samosa" and "onion bahji".Then you can ask them what would they recommend, having in mind your... More

I know this restaurant for more than 20 years. Still on top of my favorite indian restaurants in Portugal. Best samoosa's I've ever eated. Excelent quality and good staff. Just don't expect to stay for too long. Once you've finished you must get out 'cause usualy there's too much people waiting.

This is by far the best indian food in Lisbon, not considering Goan food that is completely different. Not so easy to find the place, but I love the fact that is a bit hidden! Special! The place has a nice atmosphere, service is very very good, sometimes even too fast! Food is amazingly well cooked and i love the chutneys... More

If you're following a map, you might come to doubt yourself when arriving to this place, but chances are you've reached the spot. If it feels like you're standing at the entrance of what could very well be a dodgy pension, you're definitely there! There's no big "CAXEMIRA" or Restaurant sign, so don't worry, just go up the stairs to... More

We were told about this place by our hotel and you have to look to find it. It is located upstairs and you need to enter a doorway between two stores to get there. This is by far the best and most consistent Indian food we have found in Lisbon. The place is small and fills up in the evenings.... More
