Our friends recommended this place and being a true goan, i was keen to have some goan food in Lisboa. The food was excellent. Sorpotel / rice / chappatis & prawn curry.

When my husband and I stumbled across this hidden gem, we were exhausted and not particularly hungry. In truth, we thought that we had entered a Portuguese restaurant and that we would have a light snack of cheese, bread and olives. Were we surprised when we realized that we were in an Indian establishment! Since it was our first visit... More

I cannot see why anyone would write a negative review of this restaurant. Quite simply it is a small family run business, Orlando Rodriguez the owner is a charming man who took time to describe the elements of the dishes on the menu. We had the samosa starters with homemade lime pickle - delicious - main courses of chicken and... More

Went with my wife for a saturday lunch. Ordered the tiger prawns curry with plain rice. The owner was kind enough to make a beans curry with chapati (indian bread) for my wife, who is a vegetarian. The prawn curry was excellent, home made dish.. And very affordable.. Strongly recommend

I have to say that I was not at all impressed by Zuari. We visited in December 2013, and found the owner has become a legend in his own lunchtime as a result of the great reviews he’s received. The food was mediocre at best, service pretty poor and the setting worse still. Perhaps the food was good once. I... More

I've spent over 8 months in India, from Punjab to Karnataka and from Andhra Pradesh to Sikkim so I know a little of Indian cuisine. The food in this restaurant is excellent, the staff is friendly and the furnishing pretty basic (keeping the price affordable). They also have very nice versions of common Goan dishes, ever had a vindaloo using... More

The food that is done at the moment is very good and the prices are amazing and incredible low. Next time we are going to eat only appetizers and deserts. The space is very very simple.

If you love Indian or Goan food, you will love this restaurant. A very simple restaurant, but a tremendus Goan food. My best meal on a Goan Restaurant in Lisbon or Portugal. I recomend the restaurant with friend or family.

This restaurant is slightly outside the main attractions area. But in case if you make it this far, it is worthwhile to visit this restaurant. I visited quite late in the night (9:30!!) and the menu was quite limited. They did not have the goan fish curry in the menu! However we ordered Xacuti and it was quite authentic. Since... More
