Description: If this is the first time you open our menu, Hajimemashite!(Nice to meet you!)If you are already a customer, He Yôkoso!(Be welcome!)The age and the familyIt was on the 13th December 2005 that we opened the SushiCafé Amoreiras and we never imagined that after 6 years we would be here and already with 4 restaurants established (SushiCafé Avenida, SushiCafé Amoreiras, SushiCorner Colombo e SushiCorner Atrium Saldanha). We are now a numerous family and all of this owed to you. Thank You!The Fish qualityAlthough we changed the dimension we never changed in what is really important, the fish.We still buy the best Tuna in the world, the Bluefin. It belongs to the specie Thunnus thynnus, from the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the bluefin is the largest tuna there is and therefore the most tasteful, we may see the different types of meat as the akame (less fat), chu toro and ho toro (more fat). Our tuna is captured according to the Japanese know-how. The tuna capture is probably as important as its quality, in a deficient capture it loses blood which means losing quality and flavour. Our salmon is upper category, 1st class of the three existing categoriesWe only buy large dimensions of salmon from Norway (6 to 9kg each) as it preserve better the flavour and consistencyWe wish you an excellent meal and relish with the best of Japanese food.Itadakimasu!Expression meaning gratitude mentioned before meals!

Decor is fab but front of house staff are surly and unwelcoming. Service is just about adequate. Only one bottle of saki available! Sushi is adequate apart from the terrible and hideous salmon platter with strawberry sauce- ugh! Don't waste your money...

We get in relatively early but have no reservation and it's pretty full. The lady at reception asks us if we'd mind waiting about 20 min. How can you say no to that smile? She comes back to us, when she a few seconds and we talk about little things, like the changes in the bar. We actually get seated... More

Relative good Sushi for Lisbon Portugal. It was rather expensive but good to try. They also had our favorite Japanese beer Kirin Beer. One thing they could improve was the Yakitori. The chicken skewer was not delicate. Try Nanbantei in Singapore. I wish we could find a real Yakitori and a Teppanyaki restaurant in Lisbon but so far we have... More

I've been here twice and I just love, love their salmon sushi! It melts in your mouth and I don't think the fish could be any fresher! I've also tried the vegetables gyozas (amazing!), the tempura (very good as well) and Tori Teriyaki, none of them let us down! The waitresses only seem to go to your table if you... More

We ordered tuna sashimi but they were out of tuna. we ordered salmon sashimi and 2 hot rolls. The salmon sashimi was just great. however I cant say the same about the rools. I'm a big fan of Japanese food and eat it quite often. Unfortunately I have never seen a roll be served with that much sauce. The rice... More

This restaurant has modern look decor, friendly staff and good sushi rolls. We liked all the sushi rolls we ordered here, and the special detail about this restaurant is that we wanted to order a seaweed salad, and they did not have it on the menu. So later on the sushi chef offered to make one for us, how cool... More

I love sushi and think the quality and artisan choices at SushiCafe cannot be beat. I've never had sushi with apples, but it was terrific. The dessert cannot be beat. I wish I had this restaurant in my local area. I would go all the time. By far, our favourite meal in Lisbon.
