Decent food, good value

Busy place, simple food. We got there when everybody was leaving. We served quickly, ordered rabbit to share. It was good, but nothing special. Fries were nice.

As my title says I don't understand all the good reviews. Food wasn't bad but nothing special, just average. Lisbon has great food and restaurants, for me this one isn't an example.

We went to this restaurant to have dinner after some friends recommendations. There was a queue of people when we arrived which was a good sign. After some minutes we were able to take a table. I tried some grilled meat and my wife had the seafood rice, both were tasty. It seems that the grilled chicken in this place... More

At this venue you can eat like a local with locals and many tourists. The waiters are unfriendly on the surface but warm up when talking to them. The food is excellent and cheap. I can particularly recommend the clamps. It is certainly worth a try.

We came across this place by accident. We were enticed by the chicken on the grill at the window. The restaurant is simple and cramped but the atmosphere was great and the smells coming from the grill was absolutely appetising. A couple from the next table who were leaving as we came in told us that we made a very... More

More of a cafe than a restaurant. Very cramped seating but that's the attraction. Limited menu, again part of the attraction. Portions were big. Service was friendly. Glad we got down with the locals!

Even without the food, just to be in the place is just awesome. You see real people with real life going about their business. The smell of the grill will entertain you while you wait snugly. Food portion size is huge. The price is right and the taste is just like home cooked food.

Busy restaurant, reservation is not possible, you will probably have to queue to get a table. But it is a worthwhile wait. Specialties: grilled chicken, spiced with piri piri. Piglet, fish. Take away is possible.

Fresh food, very reasonable price, very busy but cosy, not well-organized. The english speaking waiter was under a lot of stress obviously, so one of our food was cold when we got it and every single time that we wanted to order took a while to get what we wanted.
