The restaurant is not located in the tourist area so if you want go there, then it means you really want to have a real fado experience and you will. The food was good and had a decent service. you might find it expensive for the overall quality of the food and service. we were two people and payed about... More

Just returned from Portugal and spent a delightful evening at Sr.Vinho Fado restaurant in Lisbon. Small restaurant with great atmosphere, excellent food, impeccable service and wonderful fadistas, and fadisto accompanied by 2 guitars. The real fado without microphones! We heard about 15 songs during our evening, from 8:30PM to 11:30PM. The fado does not start until 9PM. The whole evening... More

Really great, youcome here mainly for the atmosphere and to listen to Fado music. But the food is simply great and with excellent service. A place with a menu packed with traditional Portuguese dishes. Difficult is the choice, so many good things to choose from. I have the typical "Favas à Sr. Vinho" which were great.

The food and the Fado show were just great. The music wasn't too loud, so the atmosphere was confortable. Excellent value for money.

Visit Lisbon and not see fado is the same as not going to Lisbon. This is one of the most well known fado restaurant in the city. The best singers perform there. The service is excelent, the food is good, but a litle overpriced, once we also pay a fee for the show. Anyway, it is really a great experience... More

This is a place you must visit. The food is correct, it is a cosy place and the Fado is the best of Lisbon. We listened to 21 really beautiful songs. Four songs were performed by the famous Joana Amendoeira who made us cry by her moving impression and expression. We stayed there from 9 PM to 1 AM without... More

Senhor Vinho is a small fado restaurant, so to visit it you must book in advance. It is tucked away in a residential area, so to find it you either have to use a map (a bit of a walk from the city centre), or to book a taxi. We spent an evening here in July 2014, and it was... More

The restaurant is intimate, comfortable and typically Portuguese. There is a cover charge, and it includes enjoyable tapas, and the food is plentiful, so you may not need to order the smoked ham and cheese as an hors d'oeuvre. There were two sets, each with a different singer. Each singer was accompanied by two musicians, one on a guitar, and... More

Nice little restaurant tucked away in a place you wouldn't find. The food was good, not brilliant. Very good choice of wines. But what made the evening was the fado - there were four singers who did four short spells starting from 9.30 and each one was amazing.
