A great little cafe. Good coffee and good food. You can sit at a table or eat at the counter. The mini sizes of their sweet or savoury specialties are a great way to sample several different tasty morsels.

Every time we walked by this shop it was always mobbed, therefore we decided we must stop by to try their cakes. We picked up 6 of their pastel de Natas to go. They were very good! I now understand why they are always busy!

Friendly waiter and the praise stops there. 3 euros for a coffee as my wife ordered off menu. Paid 65 cents elsewhere. The food was very disappointing. Whilst the egg was ok and the ham average, this was served on overly burnt toast, which together with the tinned black olives ruined the whole meal. Chocolate croissant was baked to the... More

great pastries, great coffee...everything is great. Such a busy place. People just going in and out. All the staff are really busy. Love their custard tarts.

Coffee and traditional pastry for one euro fifty or £1.20 sterling, this place takes it's coffee seriously,as good as i have had anywhere and ridiculously cheap.

Finally decided to try Portugal's famed grilled sardines here. The dish was over-rated. Lacked flavour. Maybe it didn't suit my palate even though i am a big fish-eater. The salad was average. Service was prompt but you can't walk outside the restaurant without being hounded by the staff.

Visited Lisbon for a short break of 5 days and as we were staying in a Hotel without breakfast, this is the place we visited each morning for a little coffee and pastry. There were around 40 different pastries, cakes and fruit to choose from as well as coffees, fresh juices, wine and Port. You could also have a toastie... More

Visited here for Coffee and Brandy on the first night of our stay in a Lisbon. Great location, with vibrant atmosphere. The staff were very busy, so the service was average. Coffee and Brandy good. Revisited the next night for a meal. We were ushered downstairs to a dark and dismal overspill restaurant, where we were served very average food. The... More

The place is not for lunch, but for a cup of coffee, a cup of porto and something sweet. Just order by the counter, observe other people going in and out, drink and go! The place is open until 1 a.m.
