Enjoyed authentic vegetarian Indian Food in Lisbon !

I went here one evening for dinner with a colleague. Though we were a bit late, they waited for us. The menu is quite well written, and descriptive. My colleague enjoyed a chicken dish, while I enjoyed vegetarian food. The quantity was quite good, and food tasty.

I just had lunch there with a group of Indian people, and we were all very happy with our meal. I had dinner here before and enjoyed the meal. This time tough, being with Indians, we asked for "authentic" level of spice. The food was even better. Recommended!

We were looking for a nearby restaurant and chose Passage to India thanks to the reviews on here. We were not disappointed. My wife had a Chicken Bhuna and I had a Chicken Jalfrezi after regrettably bottling out of the Madras after advice from our server. We also had Pilau Rice and a Garlic Naan. The food was excellent, the... More

Great food, nice service, good price for value. I'm tempted to give one star just to improve my chances of having it all for myself.

Great Indian restaurant over the road from my hotel- the Olissipi Saldhana. Lovely fresh cooked curry- big portions and very reasonable prices. Staff attentive and helpful and courteous, without being intrusive. One word of warning- the Madras is hotter here than the Vindaloo, in case you are a fan of hot curry!! Would highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant with a number of work friends in Lisbon for a conference. The menu had some English, but not full descriptions of the food. I was sitting next to two people from India who helped me out as I don't know Indian food that well. The food was good as was the wine, some of which was... More

Following trip advisor rating and wanted some food alternative to Portugal specialities I decided to try this place. Yes, I do agree, this is a great place with very friendly and attentive staff and food is good. It's not the best Indian food I got but it was tasty. Only bad point for Lisbon area is the price... 15 €... More

I've been there for lunch and dinner. Lunch time they have buffet menus that we can do a mix of dishes of the day, with an affordable price that includes coffee. The space is also great for a romantic, friends or family dinner. It has the best "chamuça desfeita" that I ever tried!

Friendly English-speaking staff provided attentive service throughout the night. Poppadom to start and then a starter that came quickly. Great value for money on our main dishes and the food itself was excellent.

We had a large group and maybe that was part of the problem but regardless food took an awfully long time. The drinks did come quickly. Food was not bad at all. Dal Makhani was very traditional and not how its served in western restaurants so I recommend that highly. Tawa parathas were also very well made. Butter chicken was... More
