Spiced Sensation

Passage to India is one of Lisbon's finest restaurants. It succeeds in all spheres: Menu - fresh and full of flavour , Interior - that has glamour written all over it, Great Staff – makes the atmosphere excellent and family friendly.

Good atmosphere. Very good service. You can have a free bouffe, fix menu or specific dish. The pricing is average.

In this place is all good! To start, the service is excellent! The waiters are very friendly and helpful, the owner very pleasant and always present, both to explain exactly the ingredients in each dish that once served, to show us what were our dishes. The food really delicious! Good samosas and roti bread, excellent dishes with legumes: dal tarka... More

Me and my family went there for an anniversary dinner, recently, and we enjoyed. The ambiance was nice, almost all tables had guests, the food took a little bit to come, but it was abundant. The waiter took a photo for us in the entrance as souvenir. The prices were reasonable,

I visited this restaurant a second time and thought I would write another review since the last one was slightly underwhelming. This time I really enjoyed the food - I would recommend both things I ordered, a Chana Puri and a Lamb Saag. Looks like a third visit might be necessary!

Delecious. The waiters were amazing. Explained us very well when we were not aware of something and were very good with children, a child ( from another group) fell and the manager was there in an instant trying to cheer the little one up. Excelent food it was amazing!

I went here for New Years, the atmosphere was amazing. The hard work they put in to the evening was great. The staff was spectacular. We was shocked at the price, we were amazed for the quality of service and amazing Indian food for still being well priced. I will definitely will be returning and I would recommend this place... Passage to India is located in a side street close to Saldanha (red and yellow Metro line). We have been to this restaurant a couple of times so far when in Lisbon and came to find the food to be excellent, the service faultless and pleasant and the décor tasteful. During weekday lunch hours, Passage to India serves a “prato... More

Booking a table is a must as very busy which is a good sign. Greeted by the manager on arrival. Good command of English language and made guests feel welcome. Fresh and hot poppadums on arrival with nice and different dips. Excellent quality meat dishes and different from the UK which was nice (sweetcorn and paneer madras). Even though not... More

we've eaten Indian food in 6 countries now, so it has become a tradition for us. This one is tastefully decorated. Not over the top as we have found in other places. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. We had the medium chicken curry with plain nan. It had a bit of a Portuguese flavor to it that was... More
