Very poor service. I have been in the restaurant twice and the waiter was rude both times. To expensive for the food served.

We were staying nearby so decided to go for dinner at the Rubro and we were very glad we did. It is a modern place with a good atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend going there.

Relaxed setting with a great atmosphere. There are so many good reviews, you can see it's going to be good, but the service and price seemed to just make it an even better one. You will find a good selection if you are just a bit peckish or need a larger meal. We would have made a return visit if... More

Looking over the positive reviews for Rubro Avenida there's not much that I can add. Really nice atmosphere. Upscale, but not stuffy. Excellent service. The food was very well prepared and presented. I especially liked the mushrooms. I had three different tapas plates with mushrooms and they were all delicious. So I'd definitely recommend Rubro Avenida.

We found this gem of a restaurant close to our hotel the Britannia, and it was recommended by the hotel. In an older area of the city of Lisbon the decor is a clean modern style that uses just three themes of slate, aluminium and wood to create a modern ambience. There is a great and quite extensive menu made... More

This was our last dinner before leaving Portugal. After a large lunch of fish and potatoes I was looking for something not too filling but tasty. We ordered the dried beef, baby squid and shrimp with blackened rice, and an arugula salad with brie and apple. What a treat. The house bottle of Duoro red was excellent. The waiter was... More

A great relaxed setting to enjoy some delicious Portuguese food. The decor is modern, with wooden tables and benches, high ceilings and great selection of wine bottles on display. There was a comfortable laid back ambience. We dined here for dinner for two. There is a choice of either smaller tapas dishes or larger menu items on offer. We started... More

Since we did revisit the Britania Hotel we also decided to revisit RubRo, we had good memories. I have to admit, the ambiance is still fine and for me it is a good sign that a trendy restaurant is still there after our last visit 4 yrs ago. Some of the face were also familiar, so we thought we were... More
