Located in the heart of Lisbon, in a mandatory visit neighborhood as the Bairro Alto, just a few meters away from Chiado, you find in this Wine House a committed team in a relaxed, family atmosphere, accompanied by live music that animates every night. Between the passion for wines of Antonio Baeta and the passion for cuisine of Silvia Mendes, we get the alchemical mixture of two key ingredients that make the success of this house. On the one hand, more than 1000 national references between white, red, green, sparkling and fortified wine, where the vast majority can be tasted by glass, or even taken home bottled, on the other hand, a continuous search for the best Portuguese delicacies turned into simple dishes, but with great flavor, from cheese and sausages boards with homemade jams, to mussels or scallops gratinated, seared canned tuna, or even cod or octopus in the oven. Upstairs this XVIII century building, fully redone, you can find a room for the night in a cozy environment. Six bedrooms, some with private bathroom, a mixed dormitory, a common living room, a common kitchen where breakfasts are served or where you can cook your own food and an outdoor patio, make of this Hostel a selected place for those who like to enjoy the night of Bairro Alto, and want to stick around. Enjoy every moment of the two spaces in a relaxed way and with quality. Wine House Open every day from 12h00 to 24h00.

Best restaurant in Lisbon!!!! A must go!!

This is a fantastic restaurant with amazing food, service and drinks. Also has live entertainment. The waitors are very helpful if you are not sure what to order and give good suggestions for wine or drinks to accompany your meal. Get there early (7pm) to get a seat or if you can book a table.

During a recent trip to Lisbon and included in a tour with "Your Friend in Lisbon", we visited this quaint little eatery and immediately fell in love with the place. We did a flight of 5 ports accompanied with tapas, and as an added plus we were shown how to properly open an old bottle of port without decorking! FANTASTIC!... More

Staff here are amazing. Food is delicious and waitor recommended a great bottle of red wine for €18! We ate here 2 nights of our 4 night stay, just loved it. Music was great too.

We had been to this restaurant during our holiday in Portugal and enjoyed this evening with delicious food, tasty wines and live music. A really great location. The menu consists of fresh local food and wines. We made a reservation but had to wait about 30 minutes. Nevertheless we would go to this place again. You have to make a... More

We came upon this restaurant by chance wandering through the little cobbled streets on our first night in Lisbon and not knowing where to eat. Lucky for us there was a table for 4 available and so the treat began. The waiter was superb. He explained how the ordering worked. Basically it's tapas so he recommended the best dishes to... More

Excellent wine selection, very good knowledge from the staff. Delicate tapas, cheese and cold meat boards to combine with wine, the best Vintage port tasting in Lisbon.

At this place they really know about wines. They have a very long wine list, so we asked the waiter for a recommendation. His choice for us was a red wine from the Tejo region, which fit very well to the verbal description of our favorite taste. The food was good and arranged properly. After we had finished our meal,...
