Just passed by this very busy place and managed to get a table for 2 straight away. From the start the waiter was friendly and recommended a nice vino verde (which we had never tried before) and this didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, tapas style size food but really good and went back later that week and had the... More

Looking from the outside in you see a crowded room, surrounded by wine bottle, crammed with people snacking and engaging while listing to the guitarist. We got in pretty quick to be seated followed by bread and olives being delivered (not complimentary). While we waited for menus I looked around noticing the effort to converse with my group due to... We had the best experience here, tasting port and eating tapas. We went when it wasnt too busy, around 2.30 and were so well looked after. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon. The food and drink were high standard, the staff extremely knowledgeable and the ambience very relaxed. We left feeling that we had made... More

We waited 45 minutes before we got our wine and an hour to get the food. The service was very poor, no one noticed us and it took to long to order. Please be aware that you'll have to pay for the olives and bread that they'll put infront of you - send it out if you don't want it.... More

I went to Grapes and Bites on my last night in Lisbon without a plan. I was walking around the neighborhood and after a quick look up on trip advisor, I saw the reviews were pretty good and decided to go. My review is based mostly on the comparison of this restaurant compared to what else is available in Lisbon.... More

We really enjoyed our dinner here. We got to the restaurant at around 7pm, it was empty, by 7.30pm it was full! We really enjoyed our Braised Tuna and the Chicken Sausages with leek, the wine selection was great also.

Great food, good atmosphere, had their braised poork cheek, really good and their own twist on the caprinja with white port wine was a nice surprise!

For me, this restaurant simbolizes Portugal: great food, great wine and wonderful and hospitable people! The staff is extremely nice and has knowledge of the menu and wines, the ambience is really cozy with the dim lighting, the walls covered with wine bottles and the wood furniture. Oh and the food...the petiscos (our word for tapas) are to die for!... More
