Don't Hesitate

There are so many great options in Lisbon and doing your research pays off...the reviews that are positive were bang-on. Charming, great hosts and fantastic food. I would say reservations are a must. Stuffed squid (Lulas recheadas) is a family recipe and a house specialty.

This hole-in-a-wall gem has incredible Bacalhau com Natas, which was dreamy. I still salivate when I think about it. The pork was also nice, and the restaurant has a nice wine and beer selection. Most of all though - the service was so great and the prices are really reasonable! If there's a short line, just take a seat and... More

We were walking back up to our hotel after a long day in the sun and stumbled upon this lovely patio with vino verde which we grew to love in our time in Lisbon. Stopping in for a glass of wine, also led us to meeting Telmo who works there. He was a great person to chat with while we... More

Eating here is like eating at someone's home in Portugal. The owner of this restaurant is also the chef and she turns out wonderful home-cooked meal. Salads are great in whatever the daily special is you must try it.

Small (8 tables) and intimate with hands-on service by the owner. Menu was typical of Lisbon and did not disappoint, Right at the foot of Castelo San Jorge. Recommended

Very tiny restaurant with very good food. We enjoyed every minute at this place. The host is a totaly nice guy. He gives the restaurant a even more atmosphere :)

Began with a delicious moscatelo recommended by owner/waiter. Followed by an equally delicious salad of goat cheese topped with walnuts and warm honey on a bed of lettuce. The main courses were not as special, but quite good. If you are in the Castelo San Jorge area, this is a lovely choice for dinner.

We had very good food, the wine was excellent and the owner was very nice. Unfortunately we couldn't make it a second time due to time constraints.

Only in for lunch but from the translated menu, craft beers, 40 year old port to the delicious food and attentive service, this place ticks all the boxes for a midrange quiet meal. Just a shame there's only 6 tables! Hopefully this place expands for the next time I'm in Lisbon. Muito muito bom

Welcoming and very charming place next to the castle, this tiny restaurant offers homemade traditional portuguese dishes and some original ones. The bacalhau com natas was very tasty! Deserts are also wonderful and the wines well chosen. Everything is fresh and delicious. Hoever, it is a very small place, you might need to reserve for dinner. One, if not the... More
