the atmosphere at this restaurant is just amazing. drinking delicious sangria while being surounded by other tourists is great. the fish dishes are exquisite. the food just melts in your mouth. the waiters are really friendly and have great sens of humour. once they've seen you a few times (2-3) they are really wellcoming and you don't feel like a... My wife and I loved this place! Great food, great service, good wine. Excellent choice for a nice dinner out. Plates are very well prepared. Highly recommend if you are in the area. V

This is an authentic Portuguese fish restaurant with an extensive array of fish to choose from. The style of the restaurant is typical 'canteen', with TVs on the walls and tables arranged in school-like lines. The atmosphere was a very local vibe, with very quick and efficient service by non-smiling old-school elderly waiters. Our fish dishes were simply prepared with... More

Had an early evening dinner, service was excellent, friendly staff. Veal on a stone is unique as you cook to your taste on a piping hot stone. Seafood is speciality. Husband had monk fish skewer which was delicious. Three courses for less than €50 great value, especially as it is on Avenida daLiberdade.

We enjoyed a lovely Bacalhau a Braz codfish meal followed by Toucinho do Ceu & Charcada Alentejana desserts - wonderful service & good price.

Down and dirty, well prepared seafood. Lots to chose from; char-broiled fish/shrimp is best. Good wine and wait-staff too.

I've been at that place with mom during our visit at Lisbon. That was one of our first dinners and we picked this restaurant mostly because it was close to our hotel and it was seafood place. First - please beware of "couvert" - they will bring you cheese, ham and bread. Usually couvert costs 2,5-6? even at Michelin restaurants,... More

Excellent salmon; fresh grilled sardines; pork fillets; local cheese and fresh bread; really fun attentive service from our waiter, Joaquim. Not a luxury place, but outdoor tables or indoors, both nice. A nice alternative to Cervearija Ramiro, which is much more crowded and not at all superior in quality of food. We were staying at the Heritage nearby - its... More

This is a typical cafe/restaurant which you can enter all the day. You will find all typical Portuguese food from reasonable fish and seafood until pork & beef. There is also a well asorted choice of wines. Service acts quick and the qualtiy of food is satisfying. Although the restaurant is located right on Avenida de Liberdade there are always... More

Situated on the Avenida da Liberdade, at this restaurant we were welcomed by a friendly maître'd and were able to find reasonably priced entrees for ourselves and an impromptu vegetarian dish for my daughter. There were no options on the menu here or in many other places we searched - Lisbon has a scarcity of vegetarian options on its restaurant... More
