we eat outside next the pavement and really enjoyed the buzz this brought --our waiter was superb and made the night --- food was standard traditional with plenty of choice and well cooked. If you are that end of town drop in the welcome is good and the wait isn't long if you have other things to do. enjoy !!!

An interesting and typical Marisqueira restaurant. With a quaint gang of not so young waiters, but they give you the eye, and they know what you need without imposing. We had the grilled seabass and seabream and they were just what we needed. But the small side dish of ham, wauw. This is the type of place that seems to... More

We stopped here for an evening meal as it looked busy with a mix of tourists and locals. The first time we sat outside and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very polite and helpful, not pushy at all. We had couvert followed by robalo with a bottle of wine and water. 31 euros in all. The fish was... More

This is an authentic Portuguese fish restaurant with an extensive array of fish to choose from. The style of the restaurant is typical 'canteen', with TVs on the walls and tables arranged in school-like lines. The atmosphere was a very local vibe, with very quick and efficient service by non-smiling old-school elderly waiters. Our fish dishes were simply prepared with... More

Had an early evening dinner, service was excellent, friendly staff. Veal on a stone is unique as you cook to your taste on a piping hot stone. Seafood is speciality. Husband had monk fish skewer which was delicious. Three courses for less than €50 great value, especially as it is on Avenida daLiberdade.

We enjoyed a lovely Bacalhau a Braz codfish meal followed by Toucinho do Ceu & Charcada Alentejana desserts - wonderful service & good price.
