Great food

Even tho it could be hard to find the restaurant, once you get there everything is better than you would expect. Food is delicious and original, presented with grace. The staff is caring and would do everything to help you have a good time. The atmosphere of the place is also very calm and relaxing

This is a very nice restaurant with a superb Mozambique cuisine touch... The food is very good, and the staff very helpful aiding your choice (but try the Mozambique options, specially the crab curry...) The location is perfect but if you choose outdoor (best location in my opinion) nowadays, the sunrise view is partially blocked by a municipal construction fence... More

We dined here on the recommendation of our pousada, specifically looking for a place that would be fine with children. It looked very basic - and it was certainly not fancy. But the staff did a great job with the children - 4, 6 and 8 years old, showing them the various lobsters and other creatures inhabiting the big tanks... More

Everyone speaks of Ramiro's for seafood in Lisbon but our concierge suggested IBO. Although only a few tables were occupied by other patrons I will say that the traditional marisqueria fare was excellently presented and enjoyed by all. The carabineiros, the berberechos and the crab salad were tops! Prices were very reasonable!

I have been a more or less regular presence in IBO over the years since it opened and have often recommended it. I enjoy the Mozambican and Portuguese fusion cuisine, and the location by the river is very good. I have dined at IBO with foreign visitors as well as with local friends and acquaintances, on business or pleasure, always... More

I have to be honest ... when my Portoguese colleagues proposed me to dine in a Mozambiquean restaurant I was more scheptical than thrilled. I immediately changed my mind when I saw the restaurant close to the river The ambient is modern and elegant, food well prepared and presented.

We showed the staff the Portuguese version of the "Please help me choose non gluten" card, and they were very helpful about it. My wife's prawns in butter and garlic, her whole crab (there was bread in the dressed version, so she couldn't have it), and my Algarve prawns were superb. The waiter's recommended white wine was excellent. The bill... More

Somehow fine dining - restaurant by the water with a nice view Very cosy and delicate atmosphere. Waiters are nice. We had the prawn curry and the fish loins. Our dishes were very tasty, and surprising. Service is quite fast. Dishes around 20 euros, a bit more expansive than a normal restaurant in Lisbon, but still reasonable and definatly worth... More

This was a repeat visit, coming back to a place we have been to before and have enjoyed in Lisbon. We love the starters Filo Shrimp in Filo pastry, the samosas, the crab and mango salad. This time I had the Kid Chacuti and our party also tried Laurentina's wild prawns. The food and the view are quite good but... More
