My partner and I had a table with a view over the 25 April Bridge, the statue of Christ and the boats plying the Tagus river. This restaurant, in a converted warehouse at the back of the Cais do Sodré station, was the setting for what was a delightful meal. The service is quick and pleasant, with knowledgeable and discreet... More

In a perfect location just on the river this place is just perfect for a sunny day , summer an winter to see the boats passing by when enjoying an excellent food. I always had fish or seafood and the way they prepare crab is sensational. Everything is slightly spicy reminding us that Ibo's influence comes from Mozambique . The... More

We came to this restaurant via a recommendation in the ZEIT (german newspaper). We all had fantastic meals- my dad said it was one of the best meals he had ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere is very classic and elegant However, the restaurant is not cheap.

This was a fantastic find 10 mins walk from our hotel and from the Cais do Sodre metro station. Ibo is one place we will recommend to all friends visiting Lisbon. Situated along the Rio Tejo, alfresco will be the way to go on a fine warm and breezy day. But it was a hot day when we went, so... More

...directly at the Tejo River in the new little restaurant/bar area in an old salt storage building... Very modern and stylish interior with a nice wine wall. Food does have a twist to it and was quite tasty. I had the crab and mango salad (lots of crab meat) and the tiger prawns (just two of them) Prices are more... More

Nice food by the river Tejo - the view is irresistible. It's also very close to Cais do Sodre (metro) which is a great stop if you are on the way to Belem by train.

I had the most amazing crab curry for lunch, tasty, fresh, the right amount of spice, and also some shrimps with filo pastry that were delicious. The atmosphere is nice, not very loud although there's a family lunch at table near by, the acoustic is perfect, at least, at the top floor. The service is not 5 stars, I didn't... More

We have just returned to our hotel from yet another excellent meal at Ibo. We would highly recommend the crab curry, the fish loins in coonut and coriander - and end off with the chocoate mousse. The balance of flavours is delicate and do not overpower the main ingredients, they should supply spatulas to finish off every morsel!! This restaurant... More

Just came back from this restaurant on the waterfront. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal; the starter of breaded prawns in garlic and ginger was particularly good. The main of crab curry was a very close second. The restaurant is well appointed with a good ambience. The staff were extremely freindly and spoke excellent English. Highly recommended.
