Good meal

This is one of the better restaurants I tried in Lisbon. Many of the other highly rated restaurants had no reservations available and do not take walk-ins. The fish is fresh, served a variety of ways, and the service is friendly. They had plenty of meat options as well.

Faca & Garfo is a good restaurant located close to Carmo church in Chiado area. it is well frecuented by tourist and some locals too (during my visit sounded quite french). The food is good and very portugese. The prices are similar to the restaurants around and the quality is good. Do not forget to try the desserts in Portugal;... More

Excellent small family-run restaurant with a great selection of food of ample portions. Very popular, so consequently very busy, but staff are always on-hand, ready to meet your every need! Not widely advertised, but popular through word-of-mouth.

Faca & Garfo has a welcoming and inviting appearance from the outside which is more than justified by its interior if you are fortunate to get a table or have had the foresight to book ahead. On the first two nights of our stay in Lisbon we ate 'downtown' in the streets where restaurants abound. Not impressed, we decided to... More

Don't go there for a relaxed dinner with friends: speedy service (they serve the meals before you even get to finish your starters and clear up the plates as soon as you put down your fork even though the other guests are still eating). Waiters are not especially friendly or helpful (we couldn't really get advised on the wine list).... More

Leaving Lisbon we choose this restaurant for the last meal in the city. We both took a steak of tuna, and additionally tomato salad and small bottle of wine. The fish was very good and big enough. One disadvantage was including bread into bill, but we haven't ordered one and eat when they brought it.

We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant located in the Chiado neighborhood of Lisbon. The fish was fresh and delicious and the prices-including wine-were very reasonable. The service was good but not impeccable which is the reason for four vs five stars. Bring cash because they do not take credit cards.

This is my fourth visit to this cute little restaurant and you can be certain to have a great meal. The service and the food remain consistent with every visit. I always hadve a very positive experience. The service is fast and very friendly, the meat dishes and the grilled fish are very good and notably the grilled squid is... More

We went there because of Lonely Planet recommendation but it was big disappointment. I ate squids and my boyfriend typical portuguese dish: smoked chicken and bread sausage (served with french fries and rice?!). Squids tasted like a chewing gum without a flovour, salad was just a few vegetables without any sause. Only green wine was good. After having a dinner... More
