Great wine bar

This place is super; charming and knowledgable staff and definitively worth a visit. The ham and cheese on offer is fantastic and no pretension whatsoever!

We were in Lisbon for a day on a cruise. Our friend found this originally on trip advisor so we checked it out. We were asked by the waiter/manager what kind of wines we liked which were varied. He then brought out 5 different wines for us to try. They were all wonderful but we picked our favourite and ended... More

My fiance and I dropped to experience some Portuguese wine while visiting Lisbon on Valentine's weekend. We booked a table upfront (pretty easy online booking via BestTables). If you plan visiting, we would defo recommend booking upfront as the place is not big and places are limited in order to offer the best experience to customers. Regarding our experience: The... Called in for a glass of wine after visiting the castle and stayed for 2 hours! Great wines which you can sample and fantastic food, you have to try the plate with cheeses, hams and sausage, best we've had in Portugal. The proprietor is so knowledgeable and passionate about Portuguese, wine and food, every sip and bite is and education.... More

This must be one of my favorite experiences in Lisbon. To summarize, great wines, tons of Port wines, if you're not sure, the guys there will spend lots of time explaining the ins and outs of making wine. Felt like a crash course, but also fun! I ordered 1 glass of wine and they offered 3 tasters to see which... More

If you consider yourself a wine lover, but you are not quite sure which one you really do love, this wine bar is a great place to start your adventure with portuguese wines. The staff will guide you through your preferences and offer three wines to taste (I am not saying it will be an easy choice!). Very helpful and... More

this review isn't based on anything i sampled at this bar. unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) my experience of this place is predicated on the fact i was unable to: on a rainy early evening, walked in with my fiancé hoping for a nice glass and a wind-down. we walked up to the bar where the man informed us there were...
