We really enjoyed our visit here, not the cheapest for sure but hard to beat for service with a range of tastings before you make your choice. The cheese and cold meats with plenty of bread very also all Portuguese. The service was friendly and very knowledgeable on all aspects of the wines and platters selected, also the wines reflecting... More

First and foremost this is a place to drink superlative wines in a relaxing environment with delicious meats and cheeses playing an important supporting role. All staff were knowledegable and generous with the sampling before we decided on our wines. The vintage port to wrap up the evening was simply wonderful.

Stopped there with my boyfriend after a several hours hike through Lisbon and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable about the wine that they sell and will ask what type you like and for which budget, to which they will produce several bottles of wine for you to taste. We also had the Charcuterie and Cheese platter... More

We had a guide take us here and we enjoyed the best of Portugal. The wine was all from Portugal as were the meats and cheeses. We absolutely enjoyed each and every one of them, being winees and foodies, we were quite surprised and wanting for more. The owner is a host of knowledge and eager to please. This is... More

We popped in for a tapas lunch, having found them on Facebook, but 3 hours later when we are on the 20 euros a glass port we are still here. Cannot fault the hospitality or the knowledge, or the passion for the wine. The tapas was fantastic too.

We booked online a few days before and on the day got the bus from the centre of lisbon to the Castillo. We went to the bar, introduced ourselves and within minutes we were laughing with the sommelier and enjoying great wines and great hospitality. Two hours flew by and we were privileged to try a 1955 port, on the... More

I'm normally wary of places that are really close to big tourist attractions but this place was a lovely surprise. It's very close to Castle S Jorge and is perfect for a little afternoon break following a wander around the castle. We found this place by accident but was one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon. I think... More

Incredible people working here... kind and attentive. The food is out of this world... what cheeses and charcuterie! The wines are delicious and the staff help you choose. I had an incredible time here enjoying the place, the food and the drinks. Will come back for sure.

We went here after a rainy trip around Castello de Jorge. We had heard about the bar in our guidebook. It lived up to the hype. The service was unbelievable, wine was fantastic and the cheese and meat plate was wonderful. If you visit Lisbon this place is a must.

We were apprehensive about going to a wine bar, as we were worried about how pretentious it would be - how wrong we were! The staff immediately make you feel comfortable and guide you in selecting Portuguese wines based on your initial preferences. The food that accompanies the wine is delicious and moreish. We were completely engrossed in the whole... More
