Cosy, delightful wine bar and top food dishes

Is it a restaurant, or is it a wine bar? Well the good news is that it is both. With only 16 places this cosy place found in a tiny road leading to the botanical garden is the best food and wine place in Lisbon. Portuguese food with a modern twist, over 100 wines to choose from the bottle or... read more

My research on TA pushed us to look out this restaurant. It is only small but is excellent. Every one is a perfect host, the dishes tasted wonderful and we feel we were lucky to find out about it. A small but perfect place. Great value.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday, based on other TripAdvisor recommendations. We were not disappointed. It is small, so we were lucky to get a table. Staff were very friendly and helpful, in explaining menu and wine choices. We had wonderful main courses and a glass of red wine. They take their wines seriously, so we had no doubts... More

Discovering Lisbon, me and my girlfriend, we decided to go to Belem and after googling restaurants in the area we picked this one. Best food we've had in all out trip. A hole experience, waiter was very friendly and ready to serve. Don't get deceived by the food presentation, it taste a thousand times better than it looks. A Michelin... More

Set just off the main road in a little side street, Enoteca to Belem is a small wine bar & restaurant that serves the most delicious food. I've been there many times with friends and for work dinners and they never disappoint. If there is something you don't eat or like, the chef will whip up something delicious. It's an... More

It's a small place in a very small alley, but we didn't regret one second being there. The owner made us taste great unknown wines, not the ones you find anywhere and we got the best food of our stay. This place is Gold!!!

Very lovely place recommended by both lonely planet and tripadvisor. Definitely meet my expectation. Personally, i just love the octopus, tender and flavorful! Find the restaurant down a quite lane just off the msin street. The atmosphere is elegant and the owner has a really good taste. Don't miss it and enjoy.

Staying in Belem

Neighborhood Profile
Belem
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
