We popped in here for lunch and it made our day. The waiter took us on a tour of Portugal wines. We shared a really delicious pork appetizer and then ate a beautiful piece of fish (which was a new kind of fish to me that I can't remember the name of---the other one on the menu was cod). We... Friends resident in Lisbon took us to this small but excellent restaurant in an alley near the old part of town. Our group of six had excellent food and wine and at a reasonable (not cheap) price. They really know their wines.

I ate here with two friends, on arrival one of my friends was a bit jet lagged so decided to leave the decisions to our waiter, Nelson - who was simply amazing! He served us not only incredible cuisine, but with a charm indicative of the locals and a welcome one could only hope for anywhere in the world. The... More

For our last night I wanted someplace nice. We happened upon Enoteca at lunch time, but didn't have reservations. Looking at the ambiance and menu, I knew this would be the place for our dinner. I read about a wine pairing, but it's not on the menu, so I asked. Nelson said no problem, took the menus and made all... More

Tiny restaurant, well worth finding, but do make a reservation. We headed there for lunch and had a truly memorable meal, best in Lisbon. Gazpacho was perfectly chilled, fois gras amazing, and the duck pie was to die for. Wine selection is truly Portuguese (and they have truly great ports for afters with desert!). I wish we had had more... More

I chose this restaurant as our dinner option after our visit to the Belem tourist attractions based on previous Tripadvisor reviews. It did not disappoint. It was a Portuguese culinary experience to remember. It's tucked on a small street between the Jeronimos Monastery and the Belem Palace. We savored every bite of our meal which combined many flavors. They also... More

Our special birthday dinner was amazing. Restaurant is in a small alley, luckily the taxi driver pointed it out. Our waiter and the chef spoke excellent English and made excellent recommendations. Gazpacho was delicious and refreshing and the appetizer recommended with smoked chorizo, asparagus cream and egg was amazing. We shared the St Peters fish and tuna entree and paired... More

We had a superb four-course meal, each course with a carefully chosen wine. The food was magnificent, include pig cheeks cooked for many hours, which just melted in the mouth and many traditional Portuguese foods given a modern twist to make them unusual to a British palate. The wines were even better, starting with several white wines and moving onto... More
