Booked a table that same day and ended up showing up an hour earlier than i had originally booked; the staff had no trouble giving us our table despite the early arrival. The service was friendly but not intrusive and the food was great!

This small restaurant (6 tables) is properly amazing! You don't go in this narrow street by chance, you just know where you're going... The menu is clear and simple, only local food, although the quantities are not big, the quality is amazing, from the prawns or local sausage starter to the unforgettable veal steak, that I could cut with my... On a late sunny january afternoon, we went there for some tapas and wine, only to be delighted by the chef with the nicest truffle omelettte. We also tried some wine till we found what suited us best. The service was excellent, which we found is a rare thing around Lisbon. Thanks for a nice afternoon :)

We visited in a group of 12, and were amazingly well looked after with outstanding food and wine pairing, a varied and delicious tasting menu of really high quality food and diligent service. For a special occasion, you really couldn't ask for more. The restaurant is very small so make sure you reserve.

We came here on Trip Advisor recommendations, and we had a hard time finding it at first. I am glad we persevered, as we had a great afternoon. The service was great, the food was very good quality. We were served a proprietary red wine blend from the restaurant, and we very much enjoyed it. Go! Stay awhile. You will... More

one of the best meal we had in Lisbon. It’s not far from the attractions but it’s located in a small alley so you can have a nice quiet break away from the tourists. Small restaurant, make sure you make reservation or go early or else there will be an hour wait. Chestnuts soup, steak, foie gras and wine were... More

The food was very good nouveau cuisine. Excellent flavours etc. Not cheap but good quality. We got unlucky with one waiter who was grumpy and taciturn. Though another was more friendly. The point of this place is that it is for food and wine lovers. It's quite expensive and aimed at bourgeois tourists like me, so it has to work... More

This is a Restaurant where the Wine is King, and the food is Queen Everything was remarkably presented and explained and the Wine was carefully choosen for us. I just loved it, and I'm sure I'll come back soon. The Good News is that it's located right in my neighbourhood !!!! Belem, Lisboa, Portugal

The food was excellent and so was the service and wine. Glad I spent some time finding this back alley restaurant. The restaurant only seats 16 people, so make reservations! Also: try asking for the wine list :)

We found this place sort of by chance. It's a lovely refuge of sophistication, good wine and calm, minutes away from the tourist groups in Belem. We came here mostly drawn by the possibility of sampling Portuguese wines, but the food is excellent too.
