We came here on Trip Advisor recommendations, and we had a hard time finding it at first. I am glad we persevered, as we had a great afternoon. The service was great, the food was very good quality. We were served a proprietary red wine blend from the restaurant, and we very much enjoyed it. Go! Stay awhile. You will... More

one of the best meal we had in Lisbon. It’s not far from the attractions but it’s located in a small alley so you can have a nice quiet break away from the tourists. Small restaurant, make sure you make reservation or go early or else there will be an hour wait. Chestnuts soup, steak, foie gras and wine were... More

The food was very good nouveau cuisine. Excellent flavours etc. Not cheap but good quality. We got unlucky with one waiter who was grumpy and taciturn. Though another was more friendly. The point of this place is that it is for food and wine lovers. It's quite expensive and aimed at bourgeois tourists like me, so it has to work... More

This is a Restaurant where the Wine is King, and the food is Queen Everything was remarkably presented and explained and the Wine was carefully choosen for us. I just loved it, and I'm sure I'll come back soon. The Good News is that it's located right in my neighbourhood !!!! Belem, Lisboa, Portugal

The food was excellent and so was the service and wine. Glad I spent some time finding this back alley restaurant. The restaurant only seats 16 people, so make reservations! Also: try asking for the wine list :)

We found this place sort of by chance. It's a lovely refuge of sophistication, good wine and calm, minutes away from the tourist groups in Belem. We came here mostly drawn by the possibility of sampling Portuguese wines, but the food is excellent too.

I ate here with a friend and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and made a big effort to find the right wine for us. One wall of the restaurant is full of wine and the "wine card" is basically you looking through a looking glass to the wall. Really cool. I had octopus and it was very tasty.... More

Went to Enoteca de Belem per a friend's recommendation and wasn't disappointed. The food was good, one dish was superb (the Portugese smoked sausage croquettes as starters, can't recall their real name). When asking for a wine recommendation, I've never before had the staff ask me where I'm from, so very personalized service! ;) The staff was very friendly, although... More

This is a small place with only 6-7 tables and the bar. Smal menu card. To correct some older remarks: This place does not serve Tapas style dishes. You can choose some starters, 3-5 dishes from veggie, fish or meat each and some deserts. The food is very well cooked and has some fancy compositions. Well, the prices are higher... More

I thought I was going to have a few glasses of wine and “chew”something !!! Bingo ! The best Cod Fish (Bacalhau) I’ve ever ate! And believe me, being a son of a Portuguese, I have eaten a lot of Bacalhau. Everything was wonderful. The wine service is top. Everything that the waiter/sommelier suggested was very good. All wine glasses... More
