Great food and super friendly staff and service! Hidden in a quiet alley behind the crowded main street, a nice surprise indeed! Love every detail, the food, setting, restroom, magazines, and of course the staff. :)

This is a very nice place on one of the Belem alleys. It is a very elegant place with somewhat stiff waiters. But the three-course lunch menu was excellent and the wine selection more than adequate for two amateurs. Strongly recommended.

As we were too late for lunch and too early for dinner it was lucky for us that the restaurant was open all day. Nelson knows his wines! We talked about food pairing and wine choices and drank a fabulous Vinho Verde with our Prawns, Bisque, Octopus and Duck Rice. The presentation of the food matched it's quality and the... More

We came in one afternoon by chance when we were hungry after seeing some of the sights in Belem. We had neither table reservations nor expectations. But after a good hour in the company of Nielson during which we were served the best cod dish ever, had two glasses of wine and four other wines 'that we just had to... More

The staff was great, very friendly, smiling and always paying attention to the costumers and to our needs or requests. They were also very helpful with the wine list, which, by the way, was one of the most interesting and original wine list I've ever seen... (I don't explain details, so that I don't ruin the surprise for the ones... More

We had to wait over half an hour for a table, but it was well worth the wait. A most enthralling gastronomic experience. Food and wine are first class. Staff are very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable, especially about the wine list. This should be on everyone's 'to do' list when visiting Lisbon and its only a few tram stops from... More

We had found this restaurant thanks to tripadvisor and boy did it not disapoint. It is a very small place and you really have to know where to look as you might very well pass it. The atmosphere is cosy the service great. The waiter recommended a great glass of wine to go with my tuna which was cooked to... More

Good food, great wines and a real desire and pride to have customers taste and enjoy them. Really nice experience.

We booked a table by the window, but were moved to the back, by the restrooms, even though the restaurant was empty since it was an early dinner. The service lacked the typical Portuguese friendliness found in every decent restaurant in this country. We did not feel we were welcome, so left after the main course without desserts of coffee.The... More

Friendly staff, love their approach on pricing (everything is the same price) and better wine list (just look above the bar).
