Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

The food was amazing! I ordered a pasta with shrimp and was spectacular. The only think I recommend them to work on is on the attention, i felt like the waiter wanted me out quickly even though there wasn't too much people.

Very good food. We went for a bday party and there was a pre arranged 17€ menu. The option I chose was some pasta in the oven. Lovely meal. The wine and the bruchetas were also very good. We had a late dinner which started around 10 and stayed in the place until 1am. By that time the waitters asked... More

After a few disappointing eating experiences in Lisbon, we decided to go for Italian. This place did not disappoint. The bruschetta was amazing as were the rose sauce shrimp pasta and the seafood tagliatelle. Great lighting in what was otherwise a quite plainly decorated place which instead of art on the walls had framed newspaper cuttings of the restaurant's own... More

Very relaxed and cozy mood even tough the rooms are a little noisy. The food is excellent, it has a varied menu with typical italian dishes, antipasti and good desserts. Good choice for family dinner. 4/5

I happen to sometimes travel for business here in Lisbon, and our office is 2 minutes walk only. It's actually lost in a small lane in the middle of nowhere, and no one in office even seems to know about it. Once I entered, it was a delight in every aspect: very nice decoration and atmosphere, exceptional service, delicious wines... More

I picked this restaurant, after reading all the good reviews, and I did not regret it : we walked 2km, and then took a cab to get there in time ( it was a Saturday evening, and I did not made a reservation). The place was getting packed with locals, but the friendly staff managed to squeeze us in, in... More
