Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

A fabulous Italian restaurant. The service was wonderful. Go early and make a reservation if you don't like crowds. It is a small, quaint family run business with not a lot of tables. They take pride in their food which includes homemade pasta and bread. The bread and bruschetta placed on the table is a nominal charge (common in Portugal),... More

My favourite Italian Restaurant. Never get tired of visiting again and again! Bruschetta and Melanzane to start with, followed by Pizza made with authentic Naples recipe and ingredients and finishing with mouth watering dessert! All desserts are so good, that sometime difficult to choose which one shall I order! Very good staff and excellent service!

We walked into this restaurant by chance while looking for another restaurant in the area. Because we like Italian food in general and it was already past 8 p.m., we decided to go in. We were glad we did because we really enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. It must be very popular because it was packed.... More

Being in Lisbon, you'll find yourself immersed in the beautiful typically Portuguese cultural streets. Come Prima hands you precisely that, a restaurant located in a narrow old-fashioned Lisbon street. But as you walk in, you'll be unveal the most authentic Italian food you can find in Lisbon. You cannot miss on the starters, whether it's the bruschetta or the melanzane... More

Having spotted this place on tripadvisor, my girlfriend decided to give it a try while in Lisbon. We got a taxi to the restaurant and were a little concerned as the area seemed a bit run-down and secluded. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we entered. The restaurant was lovely. We arrived just before the restaurant was officially open for... More

Good Italian food in a nice and quiet area at night. Two floors well designed but a bit darker at the corner's tables. Variety of main courses and some sweet dessert choices. Reasonable serving time with a nice serving manner. Average price (4 persons about 100 Euro). Recommended place!
