Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

Its always a pleaseure eat at come prima. The atmosphere is fantastic and the crew knows how to make you feel welcome. I recommend the rigatone with maiale ragu and the pasta with black truffles. I recommend it!

I've been a customer since 2007. This is the best Italian restaurant in town and has been receiving due awards meanwhile. I totally recommend the amazing pizzas and their pastas! The brusketas are amazing, as well as the "sangria de espumante" (try it! You won't regret it). Amazingly cheap, less than 20€/pax! Sou cliente frequente desde 2007. É o melhor... More

Hidden in a backstreet in Lapa, it is without doubts the best Italian joint in Lisbon... by far. And the owner is Nepalese! I hear this is where Italians in Lisbon actually congregates. The food is very Italian. I am not Italian, but I hail from France, so I have an unfair advantage when it comes to judging food. I... More

Small, very cosy Italian restaurant, located in an old part of Lisbon, not far from Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga and the River Tejo. High end excellent and truly Italian cuisine. Firewood oven. Good Italian wines which is quite difficult to find here in restaurants, apart some Portuguese very good wines. Faultless service. Very suitable mainly for couples or a... More

We, and most of the guests we saw, had pizza, but this place has much more to offer. I had a starter with filled mushrooms wich was a classy and tasty dish. I regretted that I ordered the pizza because I expact that the other dishes will also be of high quality. But still, the pizza's were also great. It... More

After a week of being in Lisbon and eating nothing but fish and seafood, we had a great lunch experience at Come Prima having a change up from the seafood to having a casual Italian meal with pizza, pasta, bread and soup. It is nothing extraordinary but definitely has a nice family atmosphere in a low key area in Lisbon... More

We had not pre booked prior to our visit and our hotel had difficulty finding us a suitable venue. We were pleasantly surprised . The food was excellent as was the service. The staff could not have been friendlier. We were given a nice bottle of wine as we left which is a first anywhere we have been in the... More
