Description: Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

I went to Come Prima on a Sunday night before an holiday, so it was quite full, however the service was fast and the food was great. It has a great decoration and the staff is pleasant and nice. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and I'm looking forward to return.

This restaurant is what I call a catch! The space is beautiful, with a very cosy and romantic environment! The food is actually pretty good, the wine chart is good enough, and all in all a fair price. You won't regret it.

Always like to try italian food in different cities. Come Prima was excellent. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent staff and service (some from Portugal and others from Nepal). Pizza margherita was authentic, had pasta course too--best was veal saltimbocca. Tender veal medallions with flavorful prosciutto di Parma and garlic. Was a delightful dinner and would visit again.

We were at the end of a wonderful trip to Barcelona and Portugal. We just needed italian food. This restaurant had excellent food, wine, and service and I highly recommend it. I had mushroom risotto and it was outstanding. All 4 of us had great food and a great experience.

This meal was a good experience from start to finish. On arrival, bruschetta were brought to our table, the bread was warm and fresh with lots of garlic and tomato, we all agreed this was the best bruschetta we have ever had. We were also served warm bread with oil and balsamic to dip. Starters were just as good, stuffed... More

Went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday. We were served some pasta that seemed it was done with yesterdays leftovers and grilled on a microwave. A brusceta made with 3-day-old bread that was as hard as a stone. But the worst was the service. There was this very unfriendly indian gentlemen working there that insulted me in front of... More
