Description: Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

It all started at the entrance when we asked where our friends were seated and we were left alone by the person who welcomed us for minutes without knowing what was going on. After that time, with no answers we kept looking at that person and received a cold and unprofessional "upstairs". After a little search we could find our... More

We had some amazing Portuguese wine and some good pizzas. A nice strawberry cheesecake for dessert. We were a little skeptical on the way there as we kinda felt like we were wondering around in the outskirts of Lisbon, far away from restaurants and city life. But there it was, and it was worth the search. Everything was great, both... More

What a meal! Four of us visiting from Boston ate at Come Prima at the recommendation of our hotel. For starters, two of us had insalada caprese, prepared with a burrata-like mozzarella, basil and a hint of olive oil, the others had tomato soup and zuppa milanese. The meal was off to a fine start. And the vinho tinto (Monti)... More

We booked this after looking around and seeing trip advisor, staff were great we went with the wines advised (the red was great) the food was what I would call old style Italian, but was flavoursome. Starters were salmon carpaccio . Mains Lasagne and steak with garlic and to finish the other half had chocolate mousse, the view was ok... More

I would say this is an example of hype overcoming reality - The service was forgetful - our waiter did not remember things one minute to the next and completely spaced our entrada. He was replaced by someone else halfway through the meal. The pasta dish with shrimp and arugula was sparsely populated with shrimp and arugula, and was not... More

Visited this place on a hen do with 11 other girls. The food was great and reasonably priced and the staff were very pleasant. They coped well with large groups and there was a lovely atmosphere.

I had fairly high expectations about this restaurant. Lisbon (I am a local) is full of excellent places to have great food at all price ranges, and being Come Prima so well ranked in Tripadvisor (top 10) made me give it a try. The restaurant is nice, but the tables are rather close to each other that it becomes quite... More

We got a table on the upper floor, not sure if the restaurant is always that full but on that saturday it was probably all tables full and there is very little space between the tables, so when it was full it was getting quite loud, next time maybe rather a weekday, food was everything delicious!! Tiramisu one of the... More
