Description: Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

I had fairly high expectations about this restaurant. Lisbon (I am a local) is full of excellent places to have great food at all price ranges, and being Come Prima so well ranked in Tripadvisor (top 10) made me give it a try. The restaurant is nice, but the tables are rather close to each other that it becomes quite... More

Lovely setting. Great Italian food. Couldn't be faulted. We had mushrooms to start and parmigiana. My girl had a main of Shrimp and pesto I had the amazing rigatoni with mince and tomato, everything was fantastic. We had a little bruschetta on house and 2 digestif wines to end. Will go back

We got a table on the upper floor, not sure if the restaurant is always that full but on that saturday it was probably all tables full and there is very little space between the tables, so when it was full it was getting quite loud, next time maybe rather a weekday, food was everything delicious!! Tiramisu one of the... More

This restaurant is a bit odd offering an Italian menu but made and served by people of indian origin. It´s something of a trend in Portugal, but in this case the food looks real Italian and not just a pot pourri of both cuisines. The atmosphere is cosy but the staff looks to be out of sync with the place.... More
