Description: Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

This meal was a good experience from start to finish. On arrival, bruschetta were brought to our table, the bread was warm and fresh with lots of garlic and tomato, we all agreed this was the best bruschetta we have ever had. We were also served warm bread with oil and balsamic to dip. Starters were just as good, stuffed... More

Went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday. We were served some pasta that seemed it was done with yesterdays leftovers and grilled on a microwave. A brusceta made with 3-day-old bread that was as hard as a stone. But the worst was the service. There was this very unfriendly indian gentlemen working there that insulted me in front of... More

Staff and service were excellent. Best bruschetta we had ever had. The atmosphere was perfect and food outstanding. It's a beautiful restaurant with a range of vegetarian options.

Fabulous Italian dinner in Lisboa! Our sixth day here, needed a break from Portuguese food so we found this place on the internet. The bruschetta was awesome followed by excellent salads, which seem to be absent on many Portuguese restaurant menus, were fresh and well dressed. Try the misto, or the rustica. The pizza from the brick oven was incredible,... More

It all started at the entrance when we asked where our friends were seated and we were left alone by the person who welcomed us for minutes without knowing what was going on. After that time, with no answers we kept looking at that person and received a cold and unprofessional "upstairs". After a little search we could find our... More

We had some amazing Portuguese wine and some good pizzas. A nice strawberry cheesecake for dessert. We were a little skeptical on the way there as we kinda felt like we were wondering around in the outskirts of Lisbon, far away from restaurants and city life. But there it was, and it was worth the search. Everything was great, both... More
