A Taxi Driver's tip...

Our taxi driver suggested this place en route to Rossio Square and dropped us off in front. We realized then, that we had passed it another time on foot, when they were too busy to just let us have a drink on the patio. Busy again this time as well, both inside and out, with tourists, locals and... read more

Went to this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. The place isn't much from the outside but it's full of locals and the food is excellent, worth trying the gambas ajillo and steak pica pau. Although it was a bit salty. Service was a bit functional and not very friendly. All in all a good meal.

It doesn't look like much but the food and service are outstanding. It was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel, so we were initially concerned it might be a tourist trap. We were wrong. There were far more locals than visitors which is usually a hint that the food is good. If you're looking for a quiet,... More

This restaurant was recommended by the front desk of our hotel. I was unsure at first, thinking it must be some kind of tourist trap. Quite the opposite!!! There is a healthy mix of tourist and locals. The food is simply amazing. My husband and I had the seafood rice. Excellent quality and taste. Saw an abundance of brown crabs,... More

Every time we travel to Lisbon we tend to visit Pinoquio. Yes it is, located in tourist centre of Lisbon, but there is always at least 50% of locals. Great seafood restaurant; always chaotic but service is attentive. A bit pricey, but given the quality of the food, it is well worth it.

This was our first restaurant my wife and I visited in Lisbon. The restaurant is not big and gets loud because it gets packed with people as it has an excellent reputation in Lisbon. It is a bit expensive but you eat good food, the employees really know what they are doing and if you really like a cold beer... More

Had the paella for 2 and gambas as a starter, paella was very dry and everything overcooked. Prawns in both dishes were very salty which stayed in my mouth for the day, seems over rated.

This tourist restaurant is also the sunday restaurant of Lisboeta. You have to tray: camaroes branco de algarve com sal, amendoas a bulbo pato sin o com coentro ( you have to specify if dont like coriander), arroz malandrino de tamboril, the famous PICO PAU "a must" with fried potatoes.Imperial gelada pera beber. All is very taste and good the... More

Although the employees were nice, the service was somewhat chaotic and the quality of the food was not on par with the prices of the dishes. The shrimps are nice but expensive. The fish is well cooked and the beer is served cold as it should

The outside tables give you a great view of praca dos restauradores... Servers are SUPER friendly but they don't speak good English. The food is all amazing and fresh. We ate there twice. Good value too for the amount of food
