Recommended by our hotel and the quality of authentic Portuguese seafood certainly did not disappoint. A vibrant restaurant with a totally local atmosphere where, as tourists, we initially felt a little uncomfortable, but the friendly staff were quick to put us at ease and as the amazing food began to arrive, we were lost in glorious Lisbon hospitality and Portugeuse... The restaurant is very basically decorated and the lighting a little harsh. Staff very friendly, I had fun practicing my Portuguese. The food however is not so good. The Codfish was served on a skillet and too well cooked and dry. Monkfish rice was just so so. The steak Pica Pau was the best of our meals, a decent portion... More

Went here on our first night in Lisbon after our landlady recommended it to us. It was a Tuesday night and busy but we got a table. Waiters were all very pleasant and helpful and spoke good English. The food was excellent and portions huge. I had the seafood rice which was lovely and my husband had the roasted cod... More

The service is good, but the food is really so so, compare to the price we paid, we can find much better restaurant with much cheaper price.

Our taxi driver suggested this place en route to Rossio Square and dropped us off in front. We realized then, that we had passed it another time on foot, when they were too busy to just let us have a drink on the patio. Busy again this time as well, both inside and out, with tourists, locals and business men... More

Went to this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. The place isn't much from the outside but it's full of locals and the food is excellent, worth trying the gambas ajillo and steak pica pau. Although it was a bit salty. Service was a bit functional and not very friendly. All in all a good meal.

It doesn't look like much but the food and service are outstanding. It was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel, so we were initially concerned it might be a tourist trap. We were wrong. There were far more locals than visitors which is usually a hint that the food is good. If you're looking for a quiet,... More

This restaurant was recommended by the front desk of our hotel. I was unsure at first, thinking it must be some kind of tourist trap. Quite the opposite!!! There is a healthy mix of tourist and locals. The food is simply amazing. My husband and I had the seafood rice. Excellent quality and taste. Saw an abundance of brown crabs,... More

Every time we travel to Lisbon we tend to visit Pinoquio. Yes it is, located in tourist centre of Lisbon, but there is always at least 50% of locals. Great seafood restaurant; always chaotic but service is attentive. A bit pricey, but given the quality of the food, it is well worth it.
