Fun place to watch the world go by

Ate here on my last night in Lisbon. I had the monkfish and prawns with rice (turned out to be more like a stew). The food was really quite good and a good amount for the price. My Partner and I visited here yesterday and were seated quickly. A food menu arrived in English but we had to ask for the drinks menu. We opted for the monkfish stew and the seafood paella both which were delicious. We also had a bottle of white wine and he had an espresso. This came to about €67 - we... More

We had the paella for two and green wine (a light acidic white from the Duoro valley) - both were fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our dining experience at Pinoquio - the fish and seafood we chose was excellent. The only adverse comment we would make is that the service was rather disorganized and frenetic - waiters were difficult to find and seemed in a hurry when they came to the table. The tables are very close together outside and be... More

This is a unpretentious restaurant in Restaudores Square that is in the midst of a lot of tourist oriented and frankly mediocre restaurants. Pinoquio on the other hand is always full of well-heeled locals so you will have to be determined to get a table. It is well worth the wait however, for lunch and dinner. Stick to fish and... More

Normal food (not great but tasty) but the service is terrible. A lot of waiters but most of them spend the time talking instead of attending the clients. I woudn't recomment it. Close you have other options with better service and great food.

While staying in Lisbon, we found that many restaurants are closed on Sunday but not Pinoquio. It was on a list given to us by our hotel. The restaurant is located in the heart of a busy area and easy to get to. We found the restaurant to be lively, although a tad loud but a good bustling loud. The... More

Recommended by our hotel and the quality of authentic Portuguese seafood certainly did not disappoint. A vibrant restaurant with a totally local atmosphere where, as tourists, we initially felt a little uncomfortable, but the friendly staff were quick to put us at ease and as the amazing food began to arrive, we were lost in glorious Lisbon hospitality and Portugeuse... The restaurant is very basically decorated and the lighting a little harsh. Staff very friendly, I had fun practicing my Portuguese. The food however is not so good. The Codfish was served on a skillet and too well cooked and dry. Monkfish rice was just so so. The steak Pica Pau was the best of our meals, a decent portion... More
