This restaurant is located across the street from the Hotel Avenida Palace and the train station. There is a fairly large outdoor seating area where you get to watch the busy city go by. Although the area is loud the noise doesn't impact your ability to have a quiet conversation. We had grilled lamb chops which were juicy and tasty.... More

My husband has waited a long time to have great seafood ! Because I don't like it! The queue was out the door last night so we got there early to find out the fuss !! The result was worth it ! He loved it and I had some roasted cod fish which was delicious !!! Try it ! The... More

Went here in a bit of desperation, as most places were full, but this place exceeded our expectations. Sat out in the noisy central square. The resto is very efficient, always filling up with people and the signature dish is a version of paella that was surprisingly tasty and fresh, washed down with very quaffable house white wine (their wine... Really nice seating area outside in a very lively area. The brown crab was soooooo good. We had it twice in 1 week. Paella was good, but not really great. It's the crab that's the star!

No brainer if you're in Lisbon: it's a must go! I'm a local and I visit often. It's always good. Everything on the list is good. Seems pricey give. The ambiance and the atmosphere but it's worth every penny.

The food here was amazing! A little pricey but it definitely requires at least 1 visit - I ended up eating here 3 times in 2 weeks! I recommend the Clams for an appetizer, Pica Pao (Beef) for main course, and the cream pie for dessert. The cream pie is to die for.

I had the Picapau a local favorite, sirloin steak grilled in a garlic sauce which was fairly tasty and my beautiful wife had the local fish dish Bacalhau which she found to be quite tasty. We shared a carafe of sangria. The portions are quite large. You will not walk away hungry the total for two dishes and a carafe was... More

Small place that draws plenty of locals as well as tourists. The outdoor patio is the preferred place to sit, as the interior is spartan, hot and unappealing. The portions are very large and more than enough to share with a friend or three. Overall, good example of seafood, Portuguese style. Decent selection of mostly local wines. Also, just FYI,... More

Looks nothing fancy inside or out. Looks like chaos with waiters running everywhere. Full of locals fighting for tables - we thought it must be good and we weren't disappointed! The service was prompt and the food was to die for. The house speciality steak is excellent and we also had a crab which was cooked to perfection. A wonderful... More

Just had another great lunch here. The place doesn't look that fancy but it is so good! The food is fantastic. Shrimps and prawns are really well cooked. Also I highly recommend seafood soup. Be careful portions are big! You can order one for two if you do not usually eat much. The wine is good. The service is professional.... More
