Simple and delicious Italian food

My chair was falling apart. I was so happy I noticed it before it did and I crashed down to the floor. Hahaha Anyways, we were hungry and landed here at around 9:30. Returned on a second night during a recent short break in Lisbon. Great food, relaxing and friendly atmosphere and very reasonable. Juan - who served us is a real pro - friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The owner is most courteous and helpful to all his guests. We spent 2 very enjoyable evenings in Limoncello - highly recommended. Cyclops.

We needed pasta before doing the Lisbon Half marathon and this certainly obliged with a lovely meal. Great setting. Service was really slow but I don't think this was typical as manager was really apologetic that they seemed to have been left understaffed. wouldn't let this put me off.

For those who "need" pasta. On the first floor the restaurant and take away below. For the reastaurant the water is in the bottle and below in plastic bottles (???). FOOD just decent, prices fair. 2 pax for lunch € 35 ca.

My girlfriend and I (from Chicago) stayed in Lisbon for a month. We ate here on our last night. And it was very special. It's small, the dining room is on the second floor, and the windows have lovely views to the uniqueness of the streets of Lisbon. The level of attention we received was personal and caring, but not... More

We had two restaurants in our sights this night - both Italian, both in the Bairro Alto Quarter and both well reviewed on T/A ... no disrespect to the other intended as I'm sure they're great too, but I'm so-oo pleased we picked this one! I'll get to the décor later as it's the food and service I want to... More

Went here last night. Decor upstairs very nice, service was perfect and the food was delicious. They even made the Brussels sprouts taste good - a miracle as I dislike Brussels sprouts. Our steak was cooked perfectly. The tiramisu and wine was delicious. One of the best meals we had in Lisbon and only Euro50 for 2 people.

Had diner here with the family. Friendly and rapid service. The food was more than Ok (risotto, tagliatelli bolognese, lasagna). There was a unfortunate mistake when ordering (tagliatelli vongole =\= tagliatelli bolognese) but this was very quickly "repaired" without any fuzz but with sincere apologies. Well done.

We returned to the restaurant after being impressed when dining here for my 35th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. It is a family business which serves good, wholesome food. The service is first class and friendly. In fact we were remembered from the first visit! The house wine was excellent and cheap. The complimentary liqueurs was a nice gesture... More
