Good food, nice atmosphere

We enjoyed the bacalao with polenta, and the bread that comes with tomato and cilantro, or goat cheese and honey. Quirky interior design, friendly service. Prices are moderate. All in all, it made for a fun evening!

We were recommended this place by our hotel and were impressed by the food, the staff and the ambience. We will probably go again during our stay as we enjoyed it so much.

We enjoyed this small, atmospheric restaurant that claim to source local produce and cook with love. There were no vegetarians mains so we ordered a starter, mushroom and chestnut pie, and a salad, mango apple cheese etc, and loved both. We ate two small desserts, a very alcoholic mousse and yummy strawberry cake. This was enough and I was glad... More

Got recommended this place from a local chef and it lived up to the expectations! Traditional portuguese slow-food made with lots of love and served tapas-style. Staff was very friendly and helpful and very reasonable prices made this excellent value! Not a place to visit if you're in a hurry, take your time and try everything on the menu! ;)

I signed up to TripAdvisor simply to tell you that you should never ever go here. It was atrocious. The food was abysmal despite the pleasant staff and exorbitant prices. The tapas was (barely) passable to start and the wine was fine, but the meat for our main (the veal rib) was of very poor quality and we could not... More

Delicious food, especially 'petiscos' (try chicken liver with apple and balsamico sauce), and excellent service. Previous reservation required, especially if you want to get a table for dinner at 20.00 (they have two 'shifts' - for 19.30/20.00 and for 22.30....)

The space is interesting, the attendants are nice (maybe a bit too much) and the food is ok, although too oily to my taste. They charge too much (for Portuguese standards) for what would be a slightly above average meal.

I was surprised by my boyfriend, who made reservations for the tow of us. The waiter who welcomed us was very thoughtful: we said had never been there, so he explained the concept, the dishes, and invited us to enjoy the space. And we did! We ordered two entrées (the bread with goats cheese, and the mushrooms with chestnuts) and... More

That was our best gastronomic experience in Lisbon! Though the place was created for local people and we had a hard time to book it, all our worries was fading when we finally tasted the MEAL! they find us a English speaking waitress, and she was very nice and helpful. She couldn't explain us all the details about dishes (the... More

Went here with 2 friends and had the amazing mushroom and chestnut tart, codfish salad and the famous peach crumble with agua de choc mousse with firewater! A few mouthfuls can make you feel a bit tipsy! Would definitely recommend!
