Tasca da Esquina

We had a very good lunch with the dish of the day and a selection of tapas, small portuguese tipical dishes. All very good, a special reference to "arroz de coentros" coriander rice, really very good! The staff very nice, the service a bit slow. But the ambiance is very good! Recommend it!

This bright, popular restaurant was the perfect choice for our lunch. The service and food are both excellent. The dishes we enjoyed the most were the calamari and sautéed shrimp. Both were so fresh and flavorful. Would definitely return if we are ever back in Lisbon.

This was not my first visit and every time I got more than I expected. Cozy place, very friendly service. You can simply choose the starters, appetizers and some main courses from the menu or stay in the "hand's Chef" for a journey into a modern and delicious meal. Deserts surely came from heaven. A short but good selection of... More

Small but wonderful restaurant in Lisbon with some of the best modern variations of traditional Portuguese cuisine. We preferred to order a la carte (rather than the surprise menus) and were not disappointed with anything.

Having eaten well in other places in Lisbon, we thought we'd try 'a step up' in the sense of a restaurant owned by a reputed 'celebrity chef'. It was a big disappointment - decent ingredients but no 'value added' in the cooking. We had the tasting menu, which in our experience is usually the chef's cue to show off their... More

Very good spot for a quick and good meal. It has two menus: "Hoje Há" and "Entretanto". In the two we have good options at a reasonable price. I tasted the pork meat chopped in very small pieces served with small cubed French fries, a kind of "Carne de Porco à Alentejana" without clams. It was tasty but a little... More

I went there with two friends. Warm welcome, excellent food, very good wine and desserts. A must! Try it!

I went there with my husband, during our anniversary weekend in Lisbon. I was looking for a place giving the chance to taste more than one dish or two. As Italian living in London for me having the chance to taste is very Important if I go abroad. I found this place a little jem: quite small, family atmosphere, superbe... More

Wanted to pay a visit to this restaurant for some time now. Called to make a reservation for lunch on the same day and had no problem in getting a table. However, as a negative aspect the fact that they do not have chairs for children........so if you have small kids that still need a chair to sit at the... More

Nice atmosphere, nice people serving... But price quality ratio could be improved. Deserves a second visit to confirm or unconfirm this first impression.
