Seafood and fish awesome

It is a really nice restaurant in the heart of Lisbon and excellent food and prompt service but I still think they need to free themselves a little more . But everything was very good

We asked our tour guide for a good seafood restaurant near our hotel and this was her recommendation. We had a reservation but it was mostly empty when we arrived at 6, but was packed when we finished. My daughter had the Octopus as it was highly recommended and enjoyed it. My wife and I shared the seafood platter, Travessa... More

We found this traditional Portuguese restaurant just down the road from our hotel and, after perusing the menu, we booked a table for that evening (Saturday). Upon arrival we were offered a table near the door which was unfortunately in a draft from the main door so we asked to be moved as it was too cold. The restaurant have... More

Superb old restuarant. We ate there twice, fish both times. Both meals were delicious. The service was very good. For a good reastaurant in central Lisbon prices were very reasonable, c. €80 for two with wine. You will not be diappointed.

Terrific lunch special in an establishment steeped in history. Excellent seafood (we had grilled octopus & dorado) & according to my fussy kids they had very good steak & lamb. The house wine was quaffable, the service was attentive & the bread was delicious. We're only in Lisbon for a week but will probably go back. Cost for 4 including... More

I had some really good seafood here in a classic, beautiful dining room. I think the simple grilled fresh fish is hard to beat. Also excellent cured ham. It's just off the Rossio square but much more refined than most of the other spots in the area.

I went for octopus salad as starter and then one of the fish specials (incidentally cheaper than a la carte fish choices). The fish, sea bream, was amazingly fresh and grilled to perfection. Interestingly, the waiter messed up the order and forgot about the octopus salad.... and served me the main course directly. When I noted this omission... he immediately... More

A full Brazilian BBQ for the budget traveller. There may be no picanha on offer but there is unlimited tender beef, pork and chicken for about Euros 9 at dinner (it is cheaper for lunch) which can be taken with 1 litre of house wine for another Euros 6. There is also unlimited rice and beans as well as a... More

Lisbon is well known in Portugal as one of the best places to eat, this restaurant right in the heart of the city and set in a beautiful old building lived up to what I expected. Incredible service, the waiters had to be the friendliest in the City. The food was fantastic and the price was very good, the total... More
