Just awesome!

The sea platter was delicious but huge for 1 person. The price is €25 regardless if it is ordered by 1 person. The waiter didn't tell me in advance that the price wouldn't change so it turned out to be an expensive meal in Portugal..

For a truly great seafood restaurant with the freshest fish and shellfish perfectly prepared at very reasonable prices you can not beat this charming restaurant. From grilled lobsters to sea bass every dish we tried was outstanding. They do a delicious rose sangria and have a good selection of Portuguese wines at very fair prices too. Portions are large and... More

Went to the Leao D' Ouro in March with my Wife & Daughter and had an excellent evening. My Daughter had been here on a previous visit to Lisbon and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a mix of fish/seafood and meat dishes and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we had. We tried to eat there the previous evening,... More

The service is good here but the food didn't live up to the reviews is read. My prawn starter was good but the octopus main was strange. A huge piece of octopus overcooked in places and served with roasted protostar and broccoli. My husband has sea bass as his main which was fine. A good sized fish and well cooked.... More

Excellent restaurant, particularly if you like fish. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table but the complementary port more than compensated. Food beautifully presented, good service and well priced for the quality. We had fish soup and seafood cataplana washed down with good value house white wine. Highly recommended, albeit slightly formal and would definitely return.

It is a really nice restaurant in the heart of Lisbon and excellent food and prompt service but I still think they need to free themselves a little more . But everything was very good

We asked our tour guide for a good seafood restaurant near our hotel and this was her recommendation. We had a reservation but it was mostly empty when we arrived at 6, but was packed when we finished. My daughter had the Octopus as it was highly recommended and enjoyed it. My wife and I shared the seafood platter, Travessa... More

We found this traditional Portuguese restaurant just down the road from our hotel and, after perusing the menu, we booked a table for that evening (Saturday). Upon arrival we were offered a table near the door which was unfortunately in a draft from the main door so we asked to be moved as it was too cold. The restaurant have... More

Superb old restuarant. We ate there twice, fish both times. Both meals were delicious. The service was very good. For a good reastaurant in central Lisbon prices were very reasonable, c. €80 for two with wine. You will not be diappointed.
