Truly incredible 20 Euros for 2 'arroz de marisco'. It is quite hard to get a place, you either have to be lucky or to reserve in person in advance. But it was worth every drop of sweat :)

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who had visited Lisbon a year ago. Seafood rice for two was the best true Portuguese meal we had in our seven night stay. Service was ok, older man who we noticied may have smiled once during our visit but who cares when you have great food, cheap price and great location. By... More

We read about this place on the Internet and we weren't disappointed. It's a very small local and we had to wait for almost an hour, but it was worth it. Best seafood rice I have ever tried and only ten euros per person.

In particular, they have this great arroz de marisco, which is a kind of fish soup with rice. It was definitely the best I've had in Lisbon: they come with a huge pot full of rice, tomato... More

Eat here if you want to feel like a pirate in the 16th century.. Not a clue how to serve, just bring the dish and at the end, a hand written paper with the check. That's all folks, like a bad cartoon

We were a table of four people, and got the sourly ish waiter (owner?) everybody else are talking about. He clearly didn't understand us at all, but we communicated fine and he even curled his lips a little when we complimented the speciality, which was indeed delicious! And cheap and a generous portion! I had no problems wit him. He... More

staff was a little bit unfriendly, hard to find a table after 19:00. BUT the seafood rice was delicious and the prices are perfect even for tourists with low budget...

Yesterday I went to this "restaurant" if you can call it by that name. The owner as soon as he saw me peeping through the door said THERE IS NO TABLE, I insisted to stay and he refused and went to the back of the restaurant. Then a waiter came to me and gave me a table. The shellfish rice... More
