We came across this restaurant by chance and it was a marvellous find. We did not expect to find anything so simple, unpretentious and genuine in the middle of Lisbon. We did not consider having anything other than the arroz de mariscos, the speciality of the casa, and we were not disappointed. It was truly excellent and satisfying and great... More

Recommended by a friend. This place offers the amazing seafood dish for great price. The waiter is an old man who does not speak English but very kind to all the clients. I'm so glad to find it and would love to visit again!!!

Wonderful the food and particularly their specility of "Arroz con Marisco" but also wonderful the old man, that behaves just like an old man!!! How to say, the restaurant without him would not be the same. Anyway, the arroz for two is quite difficult to be finished and it is full of crabs, prawns and shrimps. A delight for the... More

The food was very good for a great price too. I just think that the old man should be nicer, he looked very upset from having clients!

Truly incredible 20 Euros for 2 'arroz de marisco'. It is quite hard to get a place, you either have to be lucky or to reserve in person in advance. But it was worth every drop of sweat :)

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who had visited Lisbon a year ago. Seafood rice for two was the best true Portuguese meal we had in our seven night stay. Service was ok, older man who we noticied may have smiled once during our visit but who cares when you have great food, cheap price and great location. By... More

We read about this place on the Internet and we weren't disappointed. It's a very small local and we had to wait for almost an hour, but it was worth it. Best seafood rice I have ever tried and only ten euros per person.

Generally in this area of the city there are only tourist-traps. Well, not this one. A simple genuine Portuguese tasca, that serves fish. In particular, they have this great arroz de marisco, which is a kind of fish soup with rice. It was definitely the best I've had in Lisbon: they come with a huge pot full of rice, tomato... More

Eat here if you want to feel like a pirate in the 16th century.. Not a clue how to serve, just bring the dish and at the end, a hand written paper with the check. That's all folks, like a bad cartoon
