Yesterday I went to this "restaurant" if you can call it by that name. The owner as soon as he saw me peeping through the door said THERE IS NO TABLE, I insisted to stay and he refused and went to the back of the restaurant. Then a waiter came to me and gave me a table. The shellfish rice... More

We was here in march 2014 and it was amazing. Two fantastic brothers are makes everything so tasty. One os grumpy waiter. Don't be confused, he's so nice and relax. Other is a chief. And rice with se-food was absolutely best in my life.

We went for dinner at this restaurant at the recommendation of time out and based on other reviews on Trip Advisor. The seafood rice was indeed delicious, but the atmosphere reminiscent of a funeral parlour. Our host and server seemed very unhappy to be serving us, and indeed every other patron in the restaurant. He slammed drawers, sighed gustily, and... More

This was mostly a review of their service. They told us to wait for 10 minutes, which we did, for like 20 minutes... and it turns out that a group before us came from no where and said they had put their names down. We were told to go inside and then to leave and wait again. No apologies, no... More

My Portuguese friend recommended this restaurant for good seafood rice, and he was right. Fresh seafood cooked in tomato based sauce with rice. It seems to be popular not only among tourists (bad sign) but also among local Portuguese people (good sign). I saw the next table with four local Portuguese guys and what they were having also looked nice.... More

I liked the quality and price of the food. The place is quite small and the owner sometimes is a bit angry. But you will have a great meal!

After having dinner there we double check the address twice. We could not believe it was the same well rated place. We had 2 special dishes. The steaks were not beef but fat in an greasy sauce. The owner was not really nice. Not a good meal.

My husband and I have been in lisbon for 5 nights experiencing good food and extremely helpful and friendly waiters. For our last night we went to restaurant Uma, we had tried to get to eat there on Saturday night but it was full and had tables reserved. After reading trip advisor comments we thought maybe a Monday would be... More

Sea food cooked with rice, (Rice soup-like, not that watery). Very nice, a little bit resembles the Spanish paella. You can have fish and shell fish also. For wine: I always asked for Vino Verde (white wine, bottled house wine, the brand name is not always same). It is very close to Rossio or Commercio Squares. Small restaurant opens at... More
