OK food let down by rude waiter

Food was OK. I had one of those pan dishes. It was bland and boring. Very average! Waiter reminded us service charge was not included (nor is it usually in England). We always leave a tip but when he started trying to accuse us of not settling our bill correctly, things became a bit more upset... read more

If you want a big variety of delicius homemade and fresh fish, here is your place. Pay 50 euro at person to eat all fish of atlantic. Grill fish are incredible. I suggest the scrimps (a speciality in this area). To try.

The Concha d’Ouro is in the central part of the city, close to the Praca do Comercio, and certainly a tourist-focused restaurant. But the seafood and other choices are well-prepared, and we were happy to be entertained by a fado singer and guitar player as our meal progressed. We started with the garlic shrimp, after rebuffing the offering of olives... More

The food here was not actually that bad but the whole experience was frankly scary and disgusting. Firstly, the waiter was hovering over our table to watch the football on the TV inconveniently wall mounted above our table. It is when the bill came things became obscene. He insisted that we need to add a tip which we probably would... More

We can highly recommend this seaford restaurant in the centre of Lisbon. The staff were smartly dressed, helpful and polite and spoke English. The menu was extensive and very reasonably priced and the fish was fresh and delicious.

This restaurant is in a good location and the food was not that bad, but and it is a big but, the waiter who served us was nothing more than a con man. You get given, bread, butter, a fish roe and there is a nice charge for everything you are given if you have ordered it or not. But... More

I would give a zero if tripadvisor allows... Shady place, overpriced food, charged gratuity without advance notice while there is no service at all. A really dishonest restaurant who charges 7 dollars for bread, 7 FXXKING dollars!!! You must be freaking kidding me. Advice: stay away from that region, don't eat on that street at all.

Yes, it was fresh and delicious (hence 2 stars not one), but we ordered 200g of a couple of dishes and were charged for 250g. It seems like this place likes to portray itself as a classier joint than some of the touristy rip-off neighbors, but it is squarely in the same league in my opinion with this cheap trick.

Ordered a "mixed sandwich" which consisted of a 4-inch sliced bread with 1 slice of ham, one slice of prociutto, and one slice of cheese. That is some mixed sandwich. That cost me 12 EURO. And a glass of coca-cola...that cost me 3.30 EURO. This is already over-priced, but whatever, I dealt with it. It was the busiest street this... More
