We arrived in Lisbon very later and this restaurant was the only one still open. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, but the food was horrible. I had the grilled Cod served in oil with small wrinkled potatoes and a small garniture of Red cabbage and Carrot. The Cod was burned and Black on top. After filleting of the... More

Located on Rua Augusta, the main pedestrian street in Lisbon. Good service, reasonable prices, nice seafood. We sat outside and we got a warmer pled later evening for wife. Nice meal cost 49 euros for 2 meals and large sangria for both - so not bad for a city center

We ate at this restaurant a couple of years ago and loved our meal and the wait staff. This year we were not as impressed although we were there for a performance by Linda Rodrigues, a fado singer, and we did enjoy her. Our dinner was over cooked and a little dry and the waitress was not as efficient or... More

I just finished dinner with my friend. After that, my friend tells me the menu outside the restaurant is totally different with the menu upstairs! They charged us more more expensive when we haven't find it! After that, we argue with the staff, they told us the menu upstairs is with music! But they haven't told us yet! We argued... More

Located in a touristy area and I'm sure the price reflects it as well. Went inside because we liked the looks of the restaurant with tanks of fresh fishes, crabs and lobsters in it's windows. The seating area is airy and bright and spacious. This is on the main floor, there's another dining area upstairs. We ordered a platter of... More

End of a long day, we just took what was easiest to find. The Concha d'Ouro is close to the Rossio Square in Lisbon (i.e., solid tourist trade whether the food is good or not), and to our B&B. The waiter made a show of setting down what he said was a very hot plate of food (the house special... More

The “live” seafood looked good from the window display as well as the photos in the menu but we were disappointed with the food. Not much taste and nothing great. The price is also not cheap. 2 small cans of soft drink came to euro 6.60 – that’s 3.30 for just ONE can of soft drink – small can!!

There are lots of restaurants and cafes in this part of Lisbon. Most are very average and aimed at the passing tourist trade. This one is different. We were the only tourists in the place, the upstairs and most of the downstairs were packed with locals. You know the seafood is fresh, particularly the Lobsters as they are swimming in... More

Walk in the door and the smell of seafood makes your mouth water. But it is small and pricey. The place was packed though so that says something. We did not want to wait so just had a drink on the outside area. Two beers nine euro's.Three times the price compared to Albufeira.Sort of glad we did not eat there. But it is in a... One sentence can sum up our experience, overpriced, over hyped and over cooked. The prawns in the omelette were rubbery and tasteless as was one persons monkfish ,to quote just like chewing tasteless rubber. The Cataplanas ordered were acceptable. The wines ordered were very very average , all in all a big disappointment for a lot of money.
