A good place to hear Fado music during dinner. Food is expensive, but you get authenic stuff. You will see a lot of local people there.

We were at the Club at the beginning of June and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food we had was very good, along with the service. But we really came for the music and we weren't disappointed. Admittedly it is for tourists but the concept is great and the music and singing excellent.

Ordered a glas of champagne, but it was never served. Waiter explained he forgot. After ONE hour came the soup, but it was cold and had lumps that resembled a powder soup which was not dissolved. Next attempt was a different kind of soup, and it was at least lukewarm. Besides a bottle of wine I also ordered water. The... More

Really, I am puzzled to see people posting positive reviews on this place. First, as one comes here for dinner and music, let's start with the dinner.... The food is not terrible, it's even worse than that. I suppose it is frozen food micro-waved with sauce coming from industrial kegs like 10 liters. It's really horrible and even if you... More

The food was terrible, the codfish was dry and very salt. The worst meal we had in years by far. We left before the desert, as a lot of persons did. It costed 120 euro's for two persons. The nights before we enjoyed great fado dinners for half the money. A tourist trap.

We both loved this club, and walked in without a reservation on a Wednesday night (my husbands birthday) and we really had a lovely evening. When we arrived we asked the manager had he a table as no reservation made ,he immediately said tables were available . Pompous establishments will hum and haw and say we will see what we... More

Service is perfect, with a lot of different languages spoken. Three different sessions of Fado during the dinner, a saddy one (as expected), an enthousiactic one and finally one sung by a men; all of them a great discovery! Finally the food: except my seafood experience a few days after, the best place I had during my journey; clams cooked... More
