I'll make this quick - Eat here. Great food, lots of choice and very reasonable prices for a cool, hip atmosphere and good service. Best meal I've had in a long time. Came highly recommended by the desk staff, glad I listened. Also got a table pretty late in the evening on a Sunday.

This was one of the best meals i've had. There were 6 of us on a Saturday night (15/05/10) and we went at 9pm. It was superb from start to finish. I had the fried goats cheese with strawberry jam to start, which everyone agreed was the best starter. It was truly stunning (and very filling). For main I had... More

Beautiful ambiance, staff and food and all at a good price! staff went out of their way to cater for our strange requests (think bananas and cucumbers and hen do and we shall say no more) :). The food was delicious and fresh... I highly reccomend the prawn starter - it was delicious! the wine reccomendations by the staff were... More

Excellent atmosphere, staff, food and price!! What else could you want? We each had a drink at the bar, starter, main, dessert, wine, and espresso for 80 euros. My husband, who never wants to go to the same place twice, wanted to go back every night we were in Lisbon!!! We had a wonderful experience!!!

The decor is modern beautiful, with high ceilings, brick walls and cinnamon orange color scheme. The food was clean, fresh and seasonal. Very Slowfood! The price was good and the house wine excellent. The music was New Age (Budda Bar) and it was magic. To find a place like this in NYC or San Francisco no big deal. But to... More

After a long day trekking around Sintra, we returned to Lisbon and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Sacramento. Finding a spot open for a Sunday dinner is not easy...and thankfully Sacramento was not just open, but had excellent service coupled with great food. It is very easy to find in Chiado and an easy walk from the hotel on Av... More

This is an elegant restaurant with absolutely wonderful food. The special was whole fish which would be filleted at the table - enough for two people. It was amazing. Coming with a wonderful array of delicious side dishes, it was a great meal. The staff was very helpful - and spoke English very well. A bit pricey, but not overly... More

I had a wonderful time at Sacramento. The modern decor with its Balinese influence is tres sexy. The food, which is best described as modern Portuguese, was excellent. But really, I can't say enough about the staff who were so attentive and nice. Fernando was our waiter, but also one of the owners. He goes all out to make sure... More

I imagine that Sacramento, like several other restaurants in Lisbon, effectively markets itself to Lisbon's hotels as both hotels that we stayed at in Lisbon really pushed this restaurant on us. We found Sacramento to be pleasant, but unremarkable. The approach, a modern take on traditional Portuguese fare, is ubiquitous in Lisbon's Bairro Alto neighborhood. For this type of meal,... More
