Excellent choice of Indian dishes. The service was excellent and its very well located. We had a really tasty meal and were very happy. Its a small restaurant so booking is advised!

All the 3 waiters were very friendly but they didn't speak or understand portuguese and beacause of that, they brought orders that we didn't order and they were unable to talk about the menu options. The restaurant is too tiny as well as the tables and seats. The food was good (but not very good) and the overall meal was... More

Lovely little restaurant this. Wonderfully attentive service (not too much or too little), delicious food and naan bread to die for - making the whole meal an eat with your fingers experience - if you know what I mean. From other reviews we expected the dishes to be underspiced, but this was perhaps a little unfair as we found that... More

Wanted to finally try Indian food in Lisbon. Thought I'd try Tamarind since its near. Restaurant looked nice. Very clean. Service was attentive. Meal was a bit flavorless. The veggie samosa's crust was a bit thick. Not as light and flaky as I'm used to. The Nan was a bit dry. Main course lacked flavor. A bit watered down. My... More

The dishes I've tried until now are the typical you get in Indian Restaurants. Samosa, naan, curry, tandoori chicken... But they taste better.

''We booked a table for dinner on friday evening and were treated to a superb meal. The service was well-informed and friendly, and the food was freshly prepared and really delicious, Plenty of Varieties are beautifully spiced and the portions are well matched to those with a good appetite.''

This was our first experience with Indian food but after the meal ee enjoyed a lot.The service was also as exceptional as the meal.Tandoori chicken and butter chicken curry are highly recommended. If you want to enjoy tasteful and delicious Indian food then TAMARIND is the best place.

Folks from the Black Country and Birmingham are probably the most critical reviewers when it comes to the national dish (of the Midlands, that is). Hence, I'm not sure that my review would be as highly scored back in the UK, but we need to remember that we are away from Godzone.....!! Therefore, I'm no going to tear the dish... More

Dont be put off by the external appearance of this place, it's small but lovely inside. The service was very attentive without being too much. Had a fab meal here and the keema naan was actually the best I've ever had!! The butter chicken was good but not as tasty as I've had at home. Reasonably priced too - we... More
