Little tibetan and more north-east Indian, but very vegetarian!

On a one-night transit stay at Lisbon before departing back home, we made all our way to this restaurant for it's looks. Discovered almost by accident as has small entrance which is not that obvious. As we had indulged in lots of meat, we thought vegetarian would be a nice change. Surprising interior - a large open deep space materialises once you are inside. Good decor replicating Tibetan restaurant. Large choice of dishes. We had a white port and tonic as an... More

We had an excellent meal here, with friendly service in the lovely covered garden setting. A good choice for vegetarians in Lisbon.

The place (location and interior) is nice, we were sitting inside but it looked like it also had a really nice terrace. Nevertheless, the food I tried was not so special. I was disappointed especially by the quality of the tofu. Momos were also nothing like what I expected (but maybe I'm biased, having eaten real amazing Momos in Nepal).... More

I am not an expert on cuisine to evaluate how authentic tibetan these well cooked vegetarian dishes are. Good service, nice space, but in ten years Lisbon got much more ethnic alternatives and the Tibetanos remained the same.

We went there at the last evening of a holyday-trip for a special last evening in Lisboa. The location is a tiny restaurant with tiny tables but a very kind older lady, that makes little jokes for entertaining the guests. The dishes are not tasty and not that much - compared to the price. We had only main menues -... More

We had read about the restaurant in the Lonely Planet guide for Lisbon and set out to walk to it. It's a way up hill and we arrived before opening (7.30pm) so waited around. Glad we did as it's filled up within ten minutes of opening. There's an indoor seating area, or outside ( but under cover and with patio... More

Definitely a niche choice but we were looking for something different. It was very busy on a Monday evening so had good atmosphere. We shared the crispy gyoza dumplings and then had one Seitan curry and a vegetarian stew. We shared an ice cream cake dessert and a half bottle of wine and it was great value.

Contrarily to what the name suggests, this restaurant offer a great variety of dishes from various origins. Good thing is it's entirely vegetarian. Friendly service, a la carte, reasonable prices and nice garden.
