Great vegetarian food

The atmosphere in this restaurant is really great - it has a nice garden at the back. Be advised that it can be quite full, so it might be better to reserve a table in a advance. I ate a Seitan steak which was very tasty. Prices are a bit above average. Note - they accept only cash!

N38°43.194' W9°8.922' in May 2015 we walked in late on a Saturday night to find this res-taurant packed with local people. Good sign. Os Tibetanos is part of a Tibetan Buddhism school and the mantra is fresh vegetarian food, with daily specials such as quiche and curry. Regular guests occupied the best spots in the serene courtyard. They know where... More

The food is just amazingly delightful! Only for the true vegetarians and veggie lovers, as you can only find veggie meals, from starters to desserts. The place is really cozy and it will make you feel like you're out of the city. Perfect for a quiet dinner with friends or a romantic kind with your beloved one :) Expect nothing... More

The garden room is just amazing and the food is very good. The deserts are also really tasty. One of the nicest vegetarian in Lisbon.

We were looking for a good vegetarian meal whilst in Lisbon and literally stumbled upon Os Tibetanos down the street from our hotel (Vintage House Lisboa). Conveniently located for Avenida da Liberdade, the restaurant is like a tardis inside. Nothing quite prepares you for the back area of the restaurant which is open air via the side walls and full... The place has keeping its quality all over the years. I've been coming back over the last 10 years and never disappoints. The staff is always on the ball making sure everything is fine.

On a street just off Avenida deLibadore is this great veggie restaurant. At lunch, you can have the menu of the day for just €12, although I went for the a la carte option. Three tasty courses (including a wonderful rose petal ice-cream desert) and a bottle of non-alcoholic beer for under €20 is not to be sniffed at.

Discovered almost by accident as has small entrance which is not that obvious. As we had indulged in lots of meat, we thought vegetarian would be a nice change. Surprising interior - a large open deep space materialises once you are inside. Good decor replicating Tibetan restaurant. Large choice of dishes. We had a white port and tonic as an... More

On a one-night transit stay at Lisbon before departing back home, we made all our way to this restaurant for it's looks. The restaurant carries a very nice ambiance and is catered by a very friendly host, an elderly lady who is always willing to help. The place is quite cramped, owing to it's made up interiors, but the lady... More

We had an excellent meal here, with friendly service in the lovely covered garden setting. A good choice for vegetarians in Lisbon.
