Accidentally saw this intriguing restaurant tucked in a 'food court like' area of Amoreiras Shopping Center, so finally decided to give it a try, and surprisingly, the restaurant's wood-structurall style is admirable. Our server was a very helpful/nice guy who speaks good English. Delectable regional food, tasty appetizers and yummy dessert! So had lunch again the following day - again,... More

"O Madeirense" was the first restaurant offering Madeira cuisine in Lisbon, especially the famous "Espetada" and "Filetes de Espada". They're still good at it, but somehow I feel they have less passion for what they do and serve... The Espetada has good, tender meat and comes with fries and fried corn, and this is one of the few places I... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Average food with small portion sizes and poor quality compared with local alternatives. Beware - compulsory side order, 1.9 euros so not too bad but still not requested or eaten!

This has been one great restaurant, but not any more. Overall years went through this restaurant, and now is an expensive option for poor meal in a mall.

Our first evening in Lisbon and we wanted to get early dinner to go early to bed as quite exhausted from the travel. We were the only guests in the restaurant at that time, but we were treated in a great way: very attentive but not imposing. We enjoyed both of fish dishes and of course a bottle of Mateus... More

This is a Madeira's restaurant in Lisbon. Great food with great service. Try "espetos": pieces of meat served in a sword with types of potatoes. Good wine selection with good prices.

Nice cosy wooden cabin interior. Not a fast food restaurant. Typical cuisine from madeira. Good service, very attentive and polite. Menu is food. Try either seafood or espetadas. Not cheap. The madeiran garlic bread is a good starter.

This is a regional cuisine restaurant in a shopping mall in Lisbon that transports us truly to the Madeira Island atmosphere! Situated in an almost hidden corner of the Food Court of the Amoreiras Shopping, this is not a fast food restaurant. In fact it has a very pleasant, relaxed feeling , excellent decoration and very attentive service. Food served... More
