You have to eat there!

Outstanding Portuguese food. The service was great and the shellfish was as fresh as it gets. We also had the Steak on a Stone and can't say enough about the quality of the meat.

For a great traditional Portuguese meal, head to Traquitanas. You will never be disappointed! I have been many times and have always loved it.

I have been coming to this restaurant again and again and never was I disappointed. Actually the other way around, always surprised by the quality of the food, the kindness of the waiters. It is definitively one of my best restaurant around the world.

I know most of the restaurants in the area and visit them often. This one is by far the best and very typical. The cuisine is amazing. The atmosphere is ideal for couples specially in the evening. The waiters are polite and the waiting time is about right. The tornedo au Madeira is amazing. The rice with Filetes de Garoupa... More

Had dinner in January 15. Good food and reasonable price, staff not specifically super friendly but ok. Tell them if you don't like the starter they put you on the table. Skewer with sea food suggested

Been to this restaurant many times, and the food never disappoints. Very good, very fresh Portuguese cuisine. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it. Service is also very good. Personal favourite is their "Tornedo Rossini", never fails to hit the spot! Better in the evenings for dinner than lunch.

I can just say that if you like traditional Portugese food, you will love this place. I allways come here when in Lisbon or Estoril. Try "Bif da pedra" a steak brough to you on a hot stone! Mmmmmm Also the Seafood is fresh and they have a keen eye for picking the best ones for their customers. My uncle... More

Traquitanas is a honest representative of the Portuguese cuisine. The restaurant is almost a "tasca" but the food is very good. With regional dishes representing most of the regions of Portugal well cooked and with a fair selection of wines. The service is efficient and friendly and it is not that expensive. Parking can be complicated specially if you go... More

The atmosphere is genuine portuguese, so do not expect a romantic or a classy place, the restaurant is rustic but the food is prepared at it best and very honest prices considering that the fish is top quality. To not be missed their paella, besides is not a portuguese dish it's very well done and rich. The right place to... More
