We stayed in Estoril for a week in September, though the weather was bad - very bad - we had the most pleasant experience. We thankfully stumbled upon bolina'is (what we called the beer place by the sea) and went every day the entire week we was there. Sometimes just for a beer, sometimes a snack, band every time we was... More

Pleasant lunch, great location, helpful and attentive staff. Watched the surfers as we enjoyed our food and the sunshine. Staff told us of the cover charges (you pay for what you eat) as they put them on the table. Reasonably priced and well worth the walk along the esplanade.

Steak, egg and chips was really good. Very reasonably priced meals for the location as long as you don't accept the covers they put on your table right at the start. All restaurants do the same here!

Situated further round the Estoril promenade (under the station, turn left, go past the fort), I'm sure that many visitors don't make it as far as the Bolina. Make the effort as it's worth it! From the terrace you look across the promenade straight onto the breaking waves, very atmospheric! The sea bass was excellent but we found the cooking... More

Visited the restaurant "off season" in May. Friendly staff and good service. The menu offers meat, fish and shellfish dishes portuguese style. Had the Bacalao and it was very tasty and well prepared. Prices are a bit high, due to the location by the sea i guess, "tourist trap"! Great sea view. the interior in white and blue tiles doesn't... More

Very cosy sitting, just in front of the sea. Attentive and efficient service, very good fresh fish and other seafood. Quite reasonable prices.

Well, this little gem is a great place to enjoy fresh fish! Everything we had on the menu was just delicious. The view cannot be beat, it is right on the promenade and overlooks the ocean. The staff are friendly and they are open for business and ready to serve you at any hour. Go there and enjoy!

We saw this place reviewed on Trip Advisor and thought we'd have a wander past during the day. We checked out the menu and decided to give it a go for an earlish dinner.. Having arrived with friends we opted for the grilled Sardines and a light vino verde to accompany. The sardines arrived grilled to perfection and even though... More

This was one of the closest beach-side bar, restaurants to Estoril and was a very welcome place to stop on our return from Cascais. Menu is all freshly cooked and remarkable value, compared to our hotel. Would recommend for a light lunch and a couple of beers and, most importantly, is sheltered from the windy weather which was prevalent in... More
