Bio was sold...now, Big Al's is in this spot. Missing Bio very much, altho Big Al's owner, Dom, is a great guy and really cares about his customers. Serves good burgers, etc in a welcoming atmosphere. Just sad to lose Bio.

Great, organic food that looked like it came out of the cookbook photo shoot! The owner is super friendly, speaks English very well. There used to be two versions of this and trip advisor, so the number of reviews never quite reflected how good it really is.
Bio...did this mean vegan? Strange organics? It took me a while to try this place out and I regret waiting so long. Diners on the terrace and inside were a mix of tourists and locals, newcomers and solid repeat customers. Service from the manager/server guy was friendly to every customer, as he easily offered suggestions and patiently explained the offerings...

We had lunch here today with our 16 month old son it was one of the nicest dining experiences since arriving in Cascais the waiter serving us was the most accommodating with lovely fresh affordable food and most of all welcoming service highly recommended.
This is a lovely spot, we had delicious lunch, soup of the day, salads and the dish of the day, all delicious, simple full of flavour. The waiter was very helpful and genuine. I would recommend this to anyone looking for simple healthy full of flavour food.
Good food, made with great care and allways a concern of the owner(that serves you..)that you have a good experience.Every food is really bio.The service is very good wich make this nice place especial. If you visit Cascais you must pass by.
Healthy, cheap, delicious food served by extremely friendly, spontaneous people. We were looking for restaurants but after 3PM, most lunch services stop. This one didn't so that's a plus as well! Don't be afraid to ask for travelling advice either, funny owner is eager to help. Would definitely go there again.
Striking, unique food. The environment is simple, but the service is great (in English if required) and the soup, quiche, and salad all brought a surprising mix of flavors without being overpowering. All the food is organic/fresh/healthy, and there is a craftmanship to each dish. Only open for lunch, but if you want a healthy lunch, I can't think of...

As two vegetarians it was a pleasure to find the Cascais Bio. It was just outside the main streets of restaurants but literally only 2 mins walk. The menu, while not hugely extensive, looked to have something for everyone and 3 veggie friendly options. We had beautiful stuffed crepes, freshly cooked and very tasty. The staff could not have been...
