Popular restaurant in main square

We were recommended by a couple at our hotel. Although it looked a bit touristy, we had the fish of the day. This was a large sea bream with vegetables. It was boned and opened out and tasted delicious. It was very reasonably priced, as was the house wine. We were most surprised and it was well... read more

Ordered steak and a seafood salad for dinner. Salad was soggy and really off putting. Steak was ordered as medium but arrived rare. Complained and the salad was taken off the bill. Won't be back

The only good thing was the wine. At best mediocre. Asparagus tinned. Shellfish soup too salty to eat. They bring ham and cheese which they don't say you have to pay for so you feel ripped off from the start. Do not do it. Better places in Cascais. Oh and service really bad too

The food and service were fantastic at this restaurant, however the waiter brought bread, cheese and ham and placed them on the table as soon as we were seated. We were mislead to believing these were complimentary as we had not asked for them. We then ordered our meal which we enjoyed and when we got out bill, we noticed... More

We took one look at this restaurant and decided to eat there, its so quaint and cosy. We were seated at once and the waitor brought us bread and butter almost before our butts touched the chairs. There was some communication problems upon ordering, as neither of us got exactly what we ordered, I got regular shrimps instead of garlic... More

We returned back to Cascais as a result of leaving our camera behind at a store in the morning. We took the opportunity upon our return to dine here for dinner. We looked and looked and decided this place looked ok. Well it was better than ok, it was just divine. We were served some appetisers, consisting of Jamon and... More

Nice cosy little restaurant. We had soup for starters which was brilliant. Fish and vegetable soup were on the menu. For mains we had steak with mushroom sauce and salmon. Two massive portions and both served with boiled potatoes and vegetables. For dessert we had chocolate cake which was extremely rich in flavour. The bill including coffee and glass of... More

Every year, my wife and I spend a week in Cascais and this year we decided to try this restaurant at the recommendation of some friend's parents. The vegetable soup was too salty. My wife had the duck with orange, the duck felt reheated with its lack of freshness cleverly hidden in the sauce. For the first time we had... More

We dined here on a recent visit to this town. Food was typically Portuguese. Everything was fresh. For me this is a restaurant that provides good quality home cooked food but nothing beyond that. We had Turbot which was well cooked. Highchair was provided for our baby and the waiter was very helpful and polite Price for 2, 3 courses... More
