My girlfriend and I shared a tomahawk steak, suffice to say it was big enough for two. The steak had been cooked beautifully and tasted excellent. During our time in Cascais we both agreed Armazem 42 cooked our best meal.

We enjoyed our first meal in the Armazem 22 so much that we visited twice more. The couple who own it Dan the chef and Denise his wife are great hosts who are ably support by their two charming waiters. All of them are keen to ensure you enjoy whatever food you choose from the menu and are quietly attentive... More

Glad we brought a map or we would never have found this place. It was empty but soon filled up. The cooked sausage brought with the bread was a welcome change, and my squid starter was perfectly cooked, not at all rubbery. However the star of the show here was the steak, a giant ribeye, tender and delicious, and excellent... More

My wife and I accompanied by our 2 year old visited on the 2nd of July. First things first this place is not cheap however the quality of the steaks we had were fantastic. My wife tried the Wagyu sirloin and I had the aged Rib Eye. Both looked and tasted amazing. The restaurant were very fair and made a... More

My husband and I ate at Armazem last night. The first problem we encountered is that they only take cash. No cards-debit or credit. Caught short my husband had to leave and go to the ATM. We had planned to eat steak but the prices were really high so we chose fish instead. He ordered cod and I prawns. Then... More

Finding a really good steak is hard because so many places use average meat that taste of nothing, or they overcook it and you lose that juiciness. Neither apply to Armazem 22. The couvert is very good - nice rolls with homemade hummus and sliced sausage. For main, my fiancé and I shared a Prime Rib, which was huge and... More

It is often a mistake to say "it is only a steakhouse". Obviously, some sophisticated chefs can produce recipes with thirty ingredients and print ten pages of instructions. It is therefore assumed that cooking a steak is just so simple. And it isn't. I have had bad steaks in all continents. Some of them inedible. Some just passable. When you... More

My husband and I recently visited Cascais and we went to Armazem 22 on our first night. We enjoyed our meal so much we went again on our last night! The steak was delicious and the owner and the staff were all really lovely. Would definitely recommend!
