Extremely well located and with quality food, this is a place I recommend - especially during summer.

The place was buzzing on Friday night with people being turned away. We were lucky to get an early walk-in for 4. The staff were friendly and looked after the kids well. The views from the terrace are fantastic and it's a great place to watch the sun go down. Good choice of wines and a reasonably comprehensive menu at... More

We ate here after a disappointing meal at the nearby Monte Mar along the coast. The service was very nice and staff were polite (a nice change from the usual Portuguese style!), views were breath-taking from the open balcony. We had some amazing stuffed spider crab (served in the upturned shell) to start followed by the Arroz de Mar –... More

A must-go when you are in the neighbourhood. Not the cheapest but the quality is great and the views are fantastic if you can sit outside. Lovely wines from the region.

This is not a happy restaurant. We entered it looking forward to a night out but left feeling depressed. All the (only male) staff had clearly been there for years, were bored and tolerated customers only if they did as told. The place needs a few sparky waitresses to cheer everyone up. The food was OK,, a bit 'old school... More

My son Eduardo and his fiancé took me back to the Furnas about a year ago. They go there often but I hadn't been for many years. The decoration is so simple and beautiful, not at all what i had know in the "old days". The food was very very good and they allow you to have one dose for two... More

We came here after friend's recommendation in a group of 6. Appetisers in the form of broiled giant king prawns and another unnamed sea creature with bread and cheese were already on the table waiting for us. The view was amazing right next to the blue Atlantic Ocean. If you come on a sunny day in warm weather would def... More

We went for lunch on a sunny day in May. The restaurant is perhaps a 45 min brisk walk along the coast from Cascais - or a 5€ taxi ride. It was busy so it was good that we'd reserved. The dress code is informal (I had shorts and a t-shirt on and didn't feel out of place). The staff... More

What an awesome restaurant. Incredible food and views! The staff was most accommodating even with English being their second language. Highly recommend it if visiting Portugal.
