Good food, waterfront restaurant

This seafront restaurant on the cliff top a 20 minute walk from the Oitivas hotel has good seafood and a great view if you get a table by the window/ terrace. Unfortunately we booked late and had a table at the back of the restaurant! Good service apart from a long wait for the bill. Book early to... read more

This restaurant NEVER fails to impress. Haven't been for a while but on 2 occasions last week the food and the service was impeccable. The salt baked fish must surely be the best in Portugal! The setting and ambience are idyllic. The staff are charming.

We were referred by As Melhas in Lisbon, a place we went to twice, so that was a good sign. A magical and romantic setting by the sea, with lovely ocean views. Fresh fish displayed and showed to you before you order, either salt baked or grilled. The salt encases the fish in steam but we opted for the grilled,... More

Seafront restaurant on the cliff top with great seafood and amazing view if you get a table by the window/ terrace. Good service and food. Book early to get the best tables. Hard to say any negative comments about this restaurant.

With many finely dressed guests and a few in shorts and football team t shirts this restaurant caters to those who want a great event. The deck overlooks the ocean the fish swam there just a few hours before. Check the bill as we had two items added that we did not order.

Furnas do Guincho is situated on a cliff top overlooking the sparkling Atlantic ocean, just a few miles outside of Cascais. The restaurant specialises in seafood, both shell fish and the usual assortment of Atlantic fish. It's not just the stunning view and ambience that makes this a unique place for a lunch (or dinner) it's the quality of the... More

On a recent trip to Cascais we went to this restaurant as it was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. So glad we went as it was fabulous. Seafood is amazing. Great views too as the restaurant is located by the sea. So good in fact that we went again a few days later..My favourite courses were the Chefs... More
