Seaside restaurant specialized in seafood. The Wine cellar is excellent and although I always go for the great selection of Portuguese wine, check out the pricing of champagnes. You must try the salt-baked fish, world class. Or the live lobster walking around in the big aquariums….

The restaurant hasn't got a star or a "Bib Gourmand" by G. Michelin, but it would have earned one in ny humble opinion. It's an expensive restaurant, but worth every 160 Euros that we spend there for a lunch with one bottle of wine - our verdict is clear: the best restaurant in Portugal so far...even better than some "Bib's".... My husband and I ate here twice and loved the seafood. The restaurant has beautiful views. The food and presentation are excellent, however the staff is not super friendly. They are polite, but not overly friendly. It's worth going there for the excellent food with a beautiful view. We will be back in July to eat there again!

This restaurant has everything: super fresh seafood, impeccable service, nice atmosfere and a great view of the ocean. It's one of our favorite restaurants in Portugal. And Cascais is a very nice place to visit, so if you have the time to get away from Lisbon, this is a good destination for a long lunch. I really enjoy the natural... More

If you have 45 minutes to have a meal outside of Lisbon, this is an interesting place. I would only go if you have exhausted the city places or you want to get away. It is not worth a special trip to go here. Average seafood and very competent service. I had the grilled lobster...somewhat stringy.

This is one of the best restaurants in Portugal and a world class restaurant in my opinion. Unbeatable for fresh fish and seafood, the seafront setting is breathtaking and the service is nothing short of impeccable. Pricey for Portugal, but hey... with this quality it is less than half the price of similar quality restaurants in the rest of the... More

I absolutely love this restaurant. Great sea food, ocean view, good service, spacious clean room. It's great if you like portuguese, high quality, premium yet simple food. Don't expect to find elaborated / sophisticated dishes. It's also a prestigious brand in a prestigious address.

Definitely the place to go if you want fresh seafood/ fish. Appetizers and starters are also recommended, all for an excellent service. Only drawback is the wine selection as it was somehow old fashion (with very strong bias towards more "french-style" reds),which despite great quality were somehow an inappropriate selection relatively to the food.

Was a party of three and went to Restaurant Porto Maria in hopes of some good seafood. Had in total a grilled seabass, garlic clams, some lovely Portuguese cheese, bread, two soft drinks and a glass of white wine for a grand total of 150 Euros. The seabass was 1.1kg (at 78 Euros per kg). Granted that the fish was... More

Most restaurants in this area excel on seafood...but this one tops them all. Incredible landscape...deserves a visit in daytime. Far from city centre but worth it.
